“Took off one star for customer service. There were 3 girls ahead of us. And one attendant. The guy was obviously preparing the girls things and just kept staring at us. We stood there for a few minutes waiting for him to tell us give me a second or I'll be right with you or I'm busy give me a chance. But none of that. We stood there like idiots, until a coworker of his came out the back looking sweaty and like he hadn't slept in a few days and dried his wet hands on his pants and apron and asked in a rugged way what would you like? My brothers ordered. I refused to get anything. Grossed me out.“

“My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. Kudos to them for a really great place, definitely go visit!“

“Great spot, total hidden gem. I come in here time to time and their gelato is fantastic. My two favorites are the pistachio and rainbow cookie gelato ?.. they also have a nice selection of pastries / cakes. If you have a sweet tooth the cannoli creme filled lobster tails were amazing as was the rainbow cookie cheese cake! Last but not least they have a wide range of offerings as far as coffee & espresso!“

“I figured I would try this place out as they are one of the few places where I can find any coconut flavors. I got a medium cup of ice cream for$6.50 (includes tax). You get 3 scoops. I got coconut, toasted coconut, and chocolate lovers. It was amazing and worth the price which I can't say for other places. I would recommend giving this a try, There is lots of seating and the workers were pleasant.“

“This review is for the store on Bedford Ave in Bellmore. This place is awesome. The owner is super nice. The place is super clean. He has a lot of flavors that are soft. I am a flying saucer girl and they have a nice choice for you to pick or if you want something special they make it in advance and all you have to do is call them. This store is my number 1. “Guys, I have to share my experience at Let's Roll because it was wonderful. I don't really like ice cream (i know, that's crazy right?), but my husband and my kids always go to this place so I decided to try it. It's a super friendly place that's owned by a wonderful couple (Craig & Giselle, I think? I don't really know if that's how she spells it), but I never wanted to try the ice cream. Except today. I tried the passion fruit flavor - and my God, there's nothing like it! You really have to taste it - it's so yummy. And besides, the place is super family-friendly, with super nice people, such positive energy. I will be back soon. 5 stars for Let's Roll in Merrick!“

“If there was an option for ten stars, I'd rate this place ten stars across the board! EVERY time I go to this location in Bay Shore, I'm so impressed on how spotless the whole place is. The one lady & man (he's usually in the back unless a few customers come in) that are always there are so nice. The lady is constantly cleaning up after herself after everything she makes. You can see that they work hard & appreciate the business. They give excellent customer service & I HIGHLY recommend this Carvel!

“Very nice place!!! Swirls and Twirls has been around for awhile! Im glad there still doing good considering i havent been here since 2020 ish. I got the Vanilla bean with a hint of chocolate and toasted marshmallow. For toppings i got 3 strawberries with Lucky Charm marshmallows! (Cant you tell i love marshmellows) lol but i have to say that the experience i had was extremely satisfying and enjoyable!!! 5 years later and yet still amazing as always! :)“

The people there are extremely nice and I just love watching everyone bake their cookies, and they are very sanitary too!! Cookies are absolutely the best I come here very often. I threw up eating the large Reeces Peanut butter though. It was absolutely bomb but I just can’t take sugar like that.“

“The ice cream is just as amazing as the place looks inside! Honestly better than any Ralph’s Ive ever had. The pricing is so fair and the portions are huge!I got the Cookie Monster & double chocolate chip, and my boyfriend got vanilla chip & orange. We both LOVED them - I’m 100000% coming back here and wish I had visited sooner!

He made suggestions for best results before serving and offered to decorate the cake further for us.The cake was as I remembered and I was transported back to my childhood and savoured each mouthful.Carvel has my heart!“

The ice cream Is good but they Charge me way way more the The Udall rd west islip or The Howells rd one and they are so stingy it's Kind of sad because I try to support omw there now but quantity needs to change. “Have been going to this location for about 5 years and at least twice a week in peak season. The woman who is always there is the absolute best, I think she is the manager but she is a sweetheart and has the patience of a saint with the crazy customers. “It’s not just Wednesday is Sundae at Carvel .. any day is great for a Sundae ! Was given a sample cup of the Strawberry Soft Serve because I said I had never had it before .. it was amazing. “***** (Five Star) Review - The hubby and I love the Hicksville Sweet Shop! It is such a warm and welcoming restaurant/ice cream shop – were everyone knows your name! We reserved a table for Valentines Day and had a wonderful meal consisting of crab cakes, fried shrimp, French fries, vegetables and, for dessert, fresh homemade strawberry shortcake – reservations are rarely needed! Homemade ice cream and chocolates are also delicious! I can honestly say I never had a bad meal at the Hicksville Sweet Shop! Thank you Eva, Phil, Harry, Walter, Alma, Jeannie & Clair❤️e!“

“Their location has changed since the picture was posted. They’ve reopened nearby and introduced a variety of new flavors. My favorite has been the acai bowl, but you really can't go wrong with their cream or water ices. Their banana shake is just as delightful as any of their other specialty shakes and ice creams. I believe I visit them 3 to 4 times a week.“

“Came here for Mother’s Day and the food was delicious. The service was way too slow though. They were packed but really understaffed. A nice server came and introduced herself and I sat with coffee for a good 45 mins until someone brought our food over. Several other tables were waiting for the same time as well, maybe more. The server however was very nice. Everything is cooked fresh here and I enjoyed tasting everything because I was full by the time I took the first few bites. I recommend hiring more staff especially on busy holidays.“

“Ralphs Italian Ices are always great. It was on the visit bucket list since my kids have never had them. As always the food was great. The staff, not so much. They seemed bothered by us being there, and both seemed to be having a miserable day. In the end, we got what we went for, spent some time as a family, and enjoyed our snack after a very tough day saying goodbye my mother-in-law.“

Huge portions provided a lot of take home! Service was very good. Nothing really special enough to make us want to return.“
