“This place is amazing been going here since I was a kid I'm 50 now wouldn't get ice cream any other place got to check this place out“

“My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. Kudos to them for a really great place, definitely go visit!“

“Coyle's of Bayshore always delivers a wonderful ice cream experience. All of the employees are cheerful, helpful, and friendly. Anna, the manager, has created a welcoming and family-feeling environment. To top it all off, all of their ice cream is homemade on premises, and you simply can't find better. This place is a must-visit for any ice cream fan; my family travels all the way from Huntington for it!!!“

“Been here a few times now, and now that i moved to NC I was back for the holidays, I decided to take my uncle tonight and wow wow wow it never disappoints. As soon as I walk in, im almost brought to tears because it feels like home. *cues Frank Sinatra* youre greeted as soon as you walk in, everybody having warm BUT LOUD;) italian conversations at the little tables. I asked the woman which gelato she preferred and she said amaretto cookie, and so I said okay ill that one:) ! And the boss/owner intercepted and said, everyone has their own taste and took it upon himself to scoop a sample of it and I like how despite how everybody is in the fast lane and next next next (outside this place) he took the moment to go above and beyond and thats the italian way. It made me smile. Amongst the decadent gelato, the ambiance, the hospitality is what puts the cherry on top. And btw my uncle said a lot of the gelatos hes had have been ice chips but this one, perfecto. Dolce far niente. Like sitting in the car, together, reunited for the holidays, enjoying gelato. Tasting the gelato, but more, tasting a memory far richer than I could've asked.“

“Ralph's is a Long Island summer classic for as long as I can remember, and the Lindenhurst location does the name proudly! They have enough flavors of water and cream ices and ice cream that could make your head spin, and they are always adding more. My personal favorites are graham cracker, PB&J, jelly ring, and you can't go wrong with the classics like strawberry or rainbow too. An easy crowd pleaser to bring a bucket along to any BBQ! The girls behind the counter have always been friendly and helpful. Parking in the attached lot can be a lot tight to get in and out of, but luckily it's off the side road and you don't need to worry about Montauk Highway as much.“

“I love everything about this place. The cookies. The atmosphere, the wall with the huge cookie. The people there are extremely nice and I just love watching everyone bake their cookies, and they are very sanitary too!! Cookies are absolutely the best I come here very often. I threw up eating the large Reeces Peanut butter though. It was absolutely bomb but I just can’t take sugar like that.“

“The Bellmore Carvel is very special. The amount of love and care put into my son's birthday cake exceeded my expectations. Amanda is so talented and you can tell she is passionate about designing cakes. She even called me personally to ask if she could alter the cake a bit from the image I provided. “What a wonderful place to indulge! Jess took very good care of us. Very sweet, personable, and added to our positive experience. We chose a vanilla raspberry chocolate ice cream shake. The best flavored shake we've ever enjoyed! We wound up going back 2 weeks later to enjoy it again. We'll definitely be visiting here again and again.. They have plenty of seating and a bathroom on site for customers. Definitely recommend checking them out!.“

“If there was an option for ten stars, I'd rate this place ten stars across the board! EVERY time I go to this location in Bay Shore, I'm so impressed on how spotless the whole place is. The one lady & man (he's usually in the back unless a few customers come in) that are always there are so nice. The lady is constantly cleaning up after herself after everything she makes. You can see that they work hard & appreciate the business. They give excellent customer service & I HIGHLY recommend this Carvel!



Parking: Because there are other merchants in the same plaza, parking isn't always so good.“

“Some of the kindest, most understanding people work here.

It's a Coldstone Creamery, you know what you're getting into.

But the staff is exceptional, we'd been here more than a few times and always had great ice-cream. My keys stopped working and me and my fiancé were locked out of our car late at night in sub 20 below weather. The manager attempted to help us open the car, gave us shelter, and was so kind and supportive. They moved a bench inside for us, checked in and offered so much. They took care of us in more ways than not after an already long and hard day.

Outside of being a good place to get ice cream, I think any locals should support these people as much as possible.“

We reserved a table for Valentines Day and had a wonderful meal consisting of crab cakes, fried shrimp, French fries, vegetables and, for dessert, fresh homemade strawberry shortcake – reservations are rarely needed! “I can’t say enough good things about Kool Kat Ice Cream Truck! I reached out to treat my daughter and her friends at her small school, and while other places turned me down because it was a small order, Kool Kat happily said yes. They made these kids so unbelievably happy! The man who came was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to make sure every child got exactly what they wanted. “Recently, I came in and placed a large, last-minute order for a catering party that I had forgotten to arrange ahead of time. I ordered several cups of soft serve ice cream and sundaes. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming, upbeat, and ready to help. They handled my order quickly and professionally while keeping a friendly attitude that made the experience easy.
They made sure every cup looked great and were very generous with the toppings not skimping at all. I was impressed that they even waived the charge for one topping because the cup was already filled to the top. Their attention to detail, kindness, and willingness to help turned a rushed situation into a pleasant one. I left feeling relieved and impressed, and my guests loved how everything looked and tasted. Outstanding service!“

“Would be a 5 but there are no public bathrooms which seems sketchy to me because I thought all dine in establishmentts (they had seating prior to COVID) had to provide bathrooms. Prices compared to portions is insane but that's just the times we live in.“

My favorite has been the acai bowl, but you really can't go wrong with their cream or water ices. Their banana shake is just as delightful as any of their other specialty shakes and ice creams. “We recently had a shower at Zuzu at Crossbarn East and it was absolutely incredible! The room is so big and spacious, it has a beautiful setup with an area for photos. The food was delicious and everything moved so smoothly from the beginning of the planning process to the party! “Cheap ice cream 10$ for a quart. Milkshakes are huge and painful but tasty. Not only is it a place you can eat inside and it shouldn't be full. It's a place where you can pick up and go.

Vegetarian options: Ice cream is pretty vegitarian if I do say so myself.
