“Stopped here while I was in town for a work function and needed a sweet treat but wanted something that was local. The slightly older lady with brown hair and glasses who was working was super friendly and welcoming. I tried a few different flavors, as I couldn't decide and wow!!.. they were all delicious. I landed on the sea salt caramel flavor as it was fantastic and so creamy. I got a small bowl of that at a good price with great service. Definitely worth the pit stop! Charming, cozy, and straight up delicious, this cafe has the right stuff to give the cafe chains a run for their money.Immediately upon walking in, my partner and I were greeted warmly, as they insisted we try their award winning gelato. The wide spread of homemade unique flavors made deciding a difficult but happy struggle. The fresh espresso coffee and pastries were simply delightful.Should our stomachs be allowed, we would have eaten everything. We look forward to returning and trying something new.“

“Rolled ice cream is always a fun treat! They had lots of flavor options and I chose piña colada. All were $8 and came with unlimited toppings! I didn't realize at first the toppings were unlimited or I would have gotten more! I saw that they even toast marshmallows with a torch for you upon request as a topping. Ice cream was delicious and the staff friendly. They had a few tables inside and a bench outside to enjoy your ice cream. Parking could be a little tricky, as it was street parking only but we were able to easily find a spot around the corner.“

I searched online for a cake shop near her birthday party location for a convenient pick up. The cupcakes were chocolate with strawberry frosting. I ordered a small heart cake as well. We haven't been there in quite some time...surprised to see the place redecorated. My wife loved it...I understand it. I was never bothered by aesthetics as it seems seasoned and perfected like the food im about to indulge in. The old international cafe had a plethora of food, nothing that wow'd you BUT was consistently good even though they had a great variety. The freshly made waffles, variety of gelato and fresh whip cream needs no review. People who complain about noise should just stay home with their mask on. You are talking about an open place restaurant that is a staple of a community for decades. Why in 2024 are people so miserable to see others so happy. Place is jammed back...what do you expect it to sound like? People complaining about kids are the same $hit parents who rather hand their kid a iPad instead of letting them socialize. When we go there we expect it to be busy, loud, kids be kids, great food, great service and pay cash. With new owner ship comes many things and one them was the menu. We were thrown off since we were expecting our usual order. A lot of their items on the menu can be easily replicated at home. When we go out to eat we only order what we don't make for the most part. My wife ordered their Chicken Tenders which was made fresh as they were chicken cutlets cut down. I thought it was OK my wife was not happy bc the crispy bread outside came off the chicken itself. We also got wings and beer battered onion rings. Onion rings were great and wings are wings. We don't deep fry in the house for many reasons...we never ordered anything deep fried at the old spot either. Got their loaded potato skins which my wife enjoyed as well. Reviews about the new whip cream being OFF in taste is correct. Gelato tasted the same to us which was good. Price seemed fair for what we got compared to others places we have gone too. I went in on the night before Christmas Eve to the store in Merrick and the sales associate was so sweet, helpful and easy to talk to. There weren’t many flavors to choose from as I went late in the evening. Everyone at dinner on Christmas Eve said these cookies were better than Crumble!“

My partner tried the Reese's one and let me tell you he is one boy that absolutely loves his nut! He's now hooked as well he slurped the whole nutty cup up. Since my first time going last week 7/11/23 I've thought about the goodness everyday since and I've had 4 dashers and you best believe I am now a proud member of the fudge fanatics! If you are ever in the mood for something sweet and for a good price come here it's about 6 bucks for a small dasher which is a good price considering the size and amount a small price to pay for being full of cream and satisfied. “My husband ordered my birthday cake at the carvel on Hicksville Road. He ordered a few days ahead of time. He went to pick up the cake and it completely incorrect. They offered 5 dollars off and said they could not have the correct cake done today. He left and called Carvel on Park Blvd. They had it ready in 30 minutes. It may be further from our home but they were able to accommodate very quickly. We will be going there from now on.“

They let you sample the different flavors and the soft serve flavors seem to change with the season, but they always have the staples; chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. If you’re a fan of toppings they’ve got about two dozen different topping options which I believe are an additional 75-cents each.Beyond the soft serve and scooped(?) ice cream they also have flying saucers and prepackaged sundaes.“
