If you’re in Babylon Village, nearby areas or even in a different state and craving something sweet, Kilwins is an absolute must-visit.

The vibe is classic and nostalgic — bright, clean, and inviting — and the smell of fresh waffle cones and chocolate alone is worth stopping in for. The ice cream is super creamy with generous portions, perfect whether you’re a traditional vanilla/chocolate person or someone who likes trying new flavors.

Now let’s talk about the fudge, because it’s next-level. Everything is made fresh, and you can actually see the care that goes into it. The Dubai fudge is the star of the show — rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with pistachio flavors and texture. Easily the best fudge option in the store and honestly one of the best I’ve had anywhere.

Service is very friendly and welcoming, even during busy hours, and the whole experience feels genuinely enjoyable rather than rushed.

Kudos to the owners (Teja and Mani) for investing in the local community and raising the bar for dessert spots in Babylon. This place is already becoming a favorite for families, friends, and visitors alike.

“I arrived at insomnia cookies in Babylon. It was in the aftermath of the St Patrick’s day parade. It was very very busy, however they took our order very quickly. I was waiting for my cookies for quite a while due to the volume of customers within. I didn’t mind the long wait, I had myself a beautiful date with me, however, the manager, I believe he was the manager, took this very seriously and provided me with 5 FREE red velvet cookies in compensation for my wait time. I didn’t even have to about the wait. He just saw that I was here waiting for a long time and took it upon himself to make it right. You don’t see that sort of thing a lot in today’s world. My first bite was heaven. I’m not not normally a fan of red velvet, but free is for me, so I gave it a shot. 12/10 if I could rate above 5 stars I would. If you’re thinking about taking walk down to this cookie parlor; think no more, and get yourself a couple of these exceptional cookies. Amazing service, amazing flavor.“

“Ralph's is a Long Island summer classic for as long as I can remember, and the Lindenhurst location does the name proudly! They have enough flavors of water and cream ices and ice cream that could make your head spin, and they are always adding more. My personal favorites are graham cracker, PB&J, jelly ring, and you can't go wrong with the classics like strawberry or rainbow too. An easy crowd pleaser to bring a bucket along to any BBQ! The girls behind the counter have always been friendly and helpful. Parking in the attached lot can be a lot tight to get in and out of, but luckily it's off the side road and you don't need to worry about Montauk Highway as much.“

The best flavored shake we've ever enjoyed! We wound up going back 2 weeks later to enjoy it again. We'll definitely be visiting here again and again.. The one lady & man (he's usually in the back unless a few customers come in) that are always there are so nice. The lady is constantly cleaning up after herself after everything she makes. You can see that they work hard & appreciate the business. They give excellent customer service & I HIGHLY recommend this Carvel!

The woman who is always there is the absolute best, I think she is the manager but she is a sweetheart and has the patience of a saint with the crazy customers. “I can’t say enough good things about Kool Kat Ice Cream Truck! I reached out to treat my daughter and her friends at her small school, and while other places turned me down because it was a small order, Kool Kat happily said yes. They made these kids so unbelievably happy! The man who came was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to make sure every child got exactly what they wanted. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming, upbeat, and ready to help. They handled my order quickly and professionally while keeping a friendly attitude that made the experience easy.
