Ice Cream Shops near West Islip

“As always they went above and beyond making my moms vision come true! When asked what type of wedding cake do I want— 1,000,000% ICE CREAM! Thank you for your beautiful and special touches! ♥️“

“Always happy to go there. Staff is always helpful and nice.“

“Best ice cream in the game. The kids there are always awesome. Super friendly the ice cream has the perfect blend of ice and cream. It’s so creamy and icey that it just makes you so warm and fuzzy inside even though it’s cold. Love cold stone. Speshally this spot for real for real.“

“This place is amazing been going here since I was a kid I'm 50 now wouldn't get ice cream any other place got to check this place out“

“I love everything about this place. The cookies. The atmosphere, the wall with the huge cookie. The people there are extremely nice and I just love watching everyone bake their cookies, and they are very sanitary too!! Cookies are absolutely the best I come here very often. I threw up eating the large Reeces Peanut butter though. It was absolutely bomb but I just can’t take sugar like that.“

“If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience then this is the place for you. Caffe Italia offers authentic Italian colazione (breakfast) including Bindi pastries, cornetto (croissant), bomboloni (donuts), caffe Italiano, and more. Of course the star of the show is the award winning gelato! Come experience the Italian way of life and sit for a moment with an espresso or gelato! Forza Italia!“

“This place is beyond amazing from the staff and owner nick to the atmosphere & ALL the amazing delicious flavors they had to choose from with an endless tray of toppings. Everybody went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience and were extremely friendly. I will be going back again and again and again! Highly recommended!!!“

“We love Cosmos! Their food is great, ice cream is amazing and the staff are all so nice! We’ve even had a birthday party there and the kids had such a good time. :)“

“Best ice cream I ever had visited from NC!“

“Amazing staff! Never a wait. Every Ralph’s should be run like this one!“

“I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

“Ralph's is a Long Island summer classic for as long as I can remember, and the Lindenhurst location does the name proudly! They have enough flavors of water and cream ices and ice cream that could make your head spin, and they are always adding more. My personal favorites are graham cracker, PB&J, jelly ring, and you can't go wrong with the classics like strawberry or rainbow too. An easy crowd pleaser to bring a bucket along to any BBQ! The girls behind the counter have always been friendly and helpful. Parking in the attached lot can be a lot tight to get in and out of, but luckily it's off the side road and you don't need to worry about Montauk Highway as much.“

“lovee!!!!“

“Best ice cream I ever had visited from NC!“

“Very nice people and good food.“

“Shoutout our server Leslie! She was so nice!

Great food and cocktails! Loved the pizza. Sitting at the hightops with the street views was nice!

The interior of the restaurant is so beautiful too! Very unique!“

“Unique and fun experience! Delicious ice cream and friendly workers! Will definitely be back!! Coram location“

“Great place for Ice treats“

“Went to get some ice-cream after dinner. The staff greeted us as we walked in the door. They were quick and efficient. They double checked that certain ice-cream were okay to have with my food allergy. They have a freezer full of premade ice-creams and cakes or you can pick from different size cones or cups. They have different flavors of soft serve or hard ice-cream and many different toppings to choose from. They don't have any seating so we had to take it to go. I was so intent on eating my ice-cream I forgot to take pictures.“

““This is by far the best Carvel I’ve ever been to! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming every time I visit. The service is fast, the store is always clean, and the ice cream is delicious as always. No other Carvel compares to this one — I absolutely love coming here!”“

“Had lunch with my girlfriend yesterday and the food was incredible! Service was fast and professional and the restaurant was clean! Would highly recommend“

“Kool Kat supplied icecream at my granddaughter birthday party Saturday the 22 of August. It was the Highlight of the day. When everyone heard the beeping of the truck backing into my driveway the happy shouting started. Every adult and child came out to have some. The operator was so pleasant to my guests. Some came back for seconds. The ease of communication to the owners was a breeze throughout. All by text. I would recommend Kool Kat to all my friends and family.“

“Fast service“

“Best ice cream I ever had visited from NC!“

“This store is the best of the best I’ve been to many Carvel‘s and this one is courteous help you whatever you need always fills too to the max. They don’t short change you I went to one on you Road cheated me out of three dollars. These are honest people that are hard-working and just always go out of their way to help you“

“Have been going to this location for about 5 years and at least twice a week in peak season. The woman who is always there is the absolute best, I think she is the manager but she is a sweetheart and has the patience of a saint with the crazy customers. She does a beautiful job keeping the location spotless and makes sure my family’s order is handled quickly. Everything we get there is always delicious!“

“Great customer service. Amazing custom cake. 😋“

“They have false advertising on 10% on the wall and then refuse to give it. Otherwise they are fine“

“Absolutely loved our visit to Häagen-Dazs! The staff were super friendly and helpful — shoutout to ZIYA for her excellent service! Every item we tried was amazing: the berry smoothie was refreshing, and the sundaes were beautifully made and full of flavor. The whipped cream was perfectly fluffy, the toppings were generous, and everything looked as good as it tasted. Highly recommend stopping by for a sweet treat and great service. We’ll definitely be back! 🍦🍒🍓🍫🍌“

“We had our daughter’s 3rd birthday here this past weekend. The party was flawless and stress free. Alicia was so accommodating from the moment I inquired up until the very end of our party. We did not feel rushed, the place was so clean, the staff were wonderful and put up our decorations for us! Five stars!“

“Great“

“Fun visit getting ice cream and candy! Very pleasant and helpful staff! We will be back!“

“Always love going to Ralph’s. It’s my favorite dessert shop when I want something light. Been going here for over a decade. Glad it’s still around even after so long.

I usually get the strawberry, cotton candy, or recently the green apple flavor! The large is more than enough but medium is perfectly fine.“

“Always a fun time with the kids Ice cream is great Just get shocked when the total $$$$$ comes“

“Recently, I came in and placed a large, last-minute order for a catering party that I had forgotten to arrange ahead of time. I ordered several cups of soft serve ice cream and sundaes. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming, upbeat, and ready to help. They handled my order quickly and professionally while keeping a friendly attitude that made the experience easy.
They made sure every cup looked great and were very generous with the toppings not skimping at all. I was impressed that they even waived the charge for one topping because the cup was already filled to the top. Their attention to detail, kindness, and willingness to help turned a rushed situation into a pleasant one. I left feeling relieved and impressed, and my guests loved how everything looked and tasted. Outstanding service!“

“Wow!! Joe made this beautiful cake for my daughters 12th birthday. He took the time to call before making it to ensure we would have a perfect cake which was impressive. I grew up going to carvel in Hauppauge and now my kids get to enjoy the experience as well. Delicious and Fresh as always. Thank You!!!“

“What an amazing experience dealing with Michelle to customize my daughters birthday cake. The patience this women had between my 10yr old ideas and placement on everything was amazing! Thank you for making this an easy step for me.
I will update review when I pick up my cake“

“Ralphs Italian Ices are always great. It was on the visit bucket list since my kids have never had them. As always the food was great. The staff, not so much. They seemed bothered by us being there, and both seemed to be having a miserable day. In the end, we got what we went for, spent some time as a family, and enjoyed our snack after a very tough day saying goodbye my mother-in-law.“

“Great place“

“This is one of the better Carvel locations on Long Island but it seems at all the locations they work super slow and there is always a line out the door. At least at this place, the ice cream was of much higher quality than the Copiague Carvel.“

“Owner is really friendly! I ordered a birthday cake and emailed him a jpg to put on the top (a cartoon image with my kid's name on it). He had great suggestions for the color of the icing to complement the graphic. Easy and smooth transaction, clean business, and the cake came out perfect!“

“Best Ralph's around hands down! The owners & staff ROCK!!“

“Muy delicioso todo, y mucha variedad!“

“They keep a pretty large staff on hand. And they still get busy with a line to or past the door. Come at a smart time and your in and out. The ice cream is great and the workers put the effort in. All the cold stones are good but I keep coming to this one“

“The best vegan ice cream❤️“

“Booked a birthday party. Service very good and so was the ice cream 🍦😊“

“Ive done the research in an 18 mile radius (east to west) from this place. This place and torta fina have the best cookies. Insomnia’s cookies are WARM AND GOOEY!!! A pure delight compared to all those crappy oversized, raw inside and bland tasting other places. Shugga pie is next!!! Keep up the great product Insomnia“

“las hamburguesas son buenísimas...“
