“Great spot, total hidden gem. I come in here time to time and their gelato is fantastic. My two favorites are the pistachio and rainbow cookie gelato ?.. they also have a nice selection of pastries / cakes. If you have a sweet tooth the cannoli creme filled lobster tails were amazing as was the rainbow cookie cheese cake! Last but not least they have a wide range of offerings as far as coffee & espresso!“

“Very tasty ices, fun flavours, definitely NOT naturally flavoured, however, these ices were WAY better tasting than big chain places . The LICORICE flavour was AWESOME with tiny bits of black licorice in it. The building facade has a fun energy to it; the garbage can looks like a massive ice cream cone.“

“I ordered a custom cake for my brothers 16th birthday and it was amazing ! The woman who helped me was so friendly , and honest. When I told her I wanted black icing, she advised that black is difficult because it needs a bunch of different food coloring and doesn't taste good, so we ended up going with red. She really took her time to make sure we were on the same page and had everything correct. I was worried the picture would look tacky or blurry because its printed but it looked like it was drawn right on the cake. Definitely recommend this service !“

“If there was an option for ten stars, I'd rate this place ten stars across the board! EVERY time I go to this location in Bay Shore, I'm so impressed on how spotless the whole place is. The one lady & man (he's usually in the back unless a few customers come in) that are always there are so nice. The lady is constantly cleaning up after herself after everything she makes. You can see that they work hard & appreciate the business. They give excellent customer service & I HIGHLY recommend this Carvel!

“I love all the ladies that work at this Carvel. They’re so nice whoever’s doing the hiring there is definitely choosing the best candidates for customer service. They always have a smile on their face or a suggestion for when I’m not sure what I wanna get.

Parking: There is a parking lot to park in but if you happen to be there on a busy day, there is a side road and a gas station across the street that has plenty of parking that you are allowed to park on for free. There’s no restrictions. But I’ve never had an issue with parking.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly! What kid wouldn’t love an ice cream shop plus they have like the sweetest staff that works there“

“I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

“My favorite place in Kings Park! We try and get our ice cream with their black cherry topping as often as possible. It is a challenge since we live in NH.“

“I stopped in for ice cream, and my card kept getting declined, despite there being plenty of money on it. I kept asking the girls to scan the card at the top of the POS machine, and they kept telling me they cannot scan the card until the card was entered into the machine three times. I have never encountered this before.I really think there is a mistake, because the scan option was implemented to protect consumers from having to enter or swipe their cards at a POS machine. I never scan my card at retail establishments anymore; I always scan my card at the top of the machine, and my payment is always accepted. I am never told I need to enter my card three times before scanning.It ends up some lovely woman paid for my ice cream anyway, which I am highly appreciative of.“

“They are 3 Sisters and A Lovely Brother who I believe all work full time 9-5 elsewhere. The ice cream Is good but they Charge me way way more the The Udall rd west islip or The Howells rd one and they are so stingy it's Kind of sad because I try to support omw there now but quantity needs to change. “This is probably my top 2 favorite ice cream place (my other fave is sugar hill creamery). SO MANY FLAVORS!! Amazing sundaes, the staff has always been incredibly kind, they literally warm up a brownie to crumble on the Sunday without asking (not a great example but you get the point), I absolutely love it here.

“TCBY Yogurt of East Northport offer both frozen and soft yogurt and ice cream, WE brought he grandkids and they just loved it. The love all the topping choices. The place is small but has a great selection of choices. It has a couple of tables. A good change from all the other ice cream places.“

“I got a Kashmir Pink Tea, which is absolutely delicious, but it's seasonal so leaving the menu soon. Yesterday though, I had gotten the Rose bubble tea, with boba. The tapioca pearls definitely seemed fresh too, as they were soft and warm when in the drink. They have several choices for bottoms which is really nice. The bubble tea has non-dairy in it, so a lot of people can have it. They even have ice creams, tried the Maine Wild Blueberry, and it's amazing! You can order on a little self-ordering screen, or you can be helped by one of the people there. I have only seen two people at a time, but drinks have come out fast. Service has been great, super polite, and the wait hasn't been that long. I definitely want to go back to try the Tropical Oolong!“

The service was excellent.
It definitely does need more seating and to hide or clean up the garbage area behind the building.
Despite that, especially on these hot days, I definitely recommend this wonderful place for any one of their delicious refreshing treats.“
