“My daughter spotted this place and wanted to buy Italian ices. We pulled up and went to the door to find out it was closed, and they had a sign that states they should be open at 12 (guessing due to the holiday). The owner was in his car and told me I saw how excited your daughter was and I couldn't allow myself to not serve her ice cream. He opened the shop and gave her the ice cream she asked for and wouldn't accept the money for it. I thought that was amazing and you barely find business owners that go to that extent now a days. They always have a smile on their face or a suggestion for when I’m not sure what I wanna get.Parking: There is a parking lot to park in but if you happen to be there on a busy day, there is a side road and a gas station across the street that has plenty of parking that you are allowed to park on for free. There’s no restrictions. But I’ve never had an issue with parking.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly! I've had a chocolate root beer float, which was blended perfectly, a salted caramel shake, sublime and flavorful, and a classic banana split, which blew me away. It may be quite a ride from where I live, but when out this way, I highly recommend Sweet Sensations! I've turned friends on to it as well, and it's settled; whether you're vegan or not, have food allergies or don't, you're guaranteed a good time! Not living in the area and visiting, it can be overwhelming how much Babylon town has to offer, especially food-wise. However even on cold days, I make this place a priority! The flavors are plastered everywhere in long lists. New flavors are randomly placed on pieces of paper on the windows. It’s confusing and daunting to pick a flavor but it works for Ralph’s. The cream ices have a good amount of chunks in them, depending on the flavor. I like anything with peanut butter or chocolate chunks in it. Water ices are flavorful. The Ralphie smoothies are incredible too. Big fan of the triple chocolate Ralphie.PriceIt probably costs as much as ice cream but i it’s less expensive than gelato. I wanted to try to coffee specials, but I cannot drink coffee at night. We just ordered a few glasses of wine.We placed our order: I ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger and subbed the beef burger for the turkey burger. It came with lettuce tomato and red onion automatically. I also got sweet potato fries instead of normal fries. I have to say I was impressed with the flavor of the turkey patty; A lot of the time turkey patties don't have a lot of flavor. The sweet potato fries were so yummy.Other things that were ordered were French onion soup, crab cakes, the best burger, onion rings, Cobb salad without blue cheese and add feta, and a kids jumbo hot dog and fries.Everyone said their food was yummy.We each also got dessert. I went ahead and tried the bananas foster sundae dasher oh my gosh was it delicious the sweet caramel and bananas and the perfect vanilla soft serve that was the oh so perfect texture and creaminess it was so creamy that it made me cream a little (a little yuro quirkiness only jokes!). My partner tried the Reese's one and let me tell you he is one boy that absolutely loves his nut! He's now hooked as well he slurped the whole nutty cup up. Since my first time going last week 7/11/23 I've thought about the goodness everyday since and I've had 4 dashers and you best believe I am now a proud member of the fudge fanatics! If you are ever in the mood for something sweet and for a good price come here it's about 6 bucks for a small dasher which is a good price considering the size and amount a small price to pay for being full of cream and satisfied. “I stopped in for ice cream, and my card kept getting declined, despite there being plenty of money on it. I kept asking the girls to scan the card at the top of the POS machine, and they kept telling me they cannot scan the card until the card was entered into the machine three times. I have never encountered this before.I really think there is a mistake, because the scan option was implemented to protect consumers from having to enter or swipe their cards at a POS machine. I never scan my card at retail establishments anymore; I always scan my card at the top of the machine, and my payment is always accepted. I am never told I need to enter my card three times before scanning.It ends up some lovely woman paid for my ice cream anyway, which I am highly appreciative of.“
“I have nothing, but positive things to say about Blue Bean Cafe. When I used to live in the area, I would work from Blue Bean 2-3 times a week. The ambiance is clean and bright, and the staff and owners are so welcoming. Their strawberry matcha tea latte is to die for! Any time I am in the area I stop in to get it. If you're looking for a little snack, definitely get the garlic roll and make sure to have it toasted. Their bacon and egg avocado toast is also a must try! Blue Bean Cafe is a gem.“
