“When it comes to eating, this place has that Sonic Drive-In/Friendly's vibe; the food (burgers, fries, chicken, etc.) may not be something to write home about (much of it is "alright" at best) but the desserts (ice cream, shakes, malts, floats, etc.) is where the menu truly shines! Each ice cream concoction (including one of my faves, Rocky Road) is stuffed to the brim with mix-ins and the shakes are just the right kind of thickness.The girls who served my friends and I were very friendly with warm smiles and polite suggestions to get the most out of our eating experience. They even let me sample a flavor of their ice cream (after which I knew I was getting dessert with my meal!) so I knew what I was in for.The ambiance has that charming Pizza Planet vibe to it (If you've seen the movie "Toy Story" you get it!) filled with outer space decor and space-themed names for the menu items making it very family-friendly. If it had an arcade (or at least just a few cabinets), that would be pretty cool! (I'm not knocking points off for that one btw!)The place is definitely a good place for quality desserts and customer experience. As for lunch or dinner, it's good but I'm pretty sure your local diner may satisfy you a bit more. “There are different kinds of ice cream to get here. I got the hard ice cream to try and I really enjoyed the consistency and the taste. The mint chocolate chip tastes really good. It does not taste toothpastey at all which i enjoy a lot! It tastes very good. I also tried the coffee hard ice cream and it was very flavorful. It had a strong coffee flavor which I liked. I am excited to try new flavors here and new ice cream types. The workers are very kind as well which is memorable.“

I’m not too sure if they changed things around or if they updated the place but it’s exactly like proportions! The salads were absolutely delicious, and the size portions were massive! “Waitress was really nice and accommodating.The food came out pretty fast.But even without extra jalapeños and BBQ sauce it was pretty bland.Think most of the food is from frozen so it's ok for the price. But my the kids Mac and cheese was dry and had no real cheese or flavor.The blackberry fribble was great I'm lactose intolerant and I suffered for it but I finished it haha.Overall great for dessert. But even with the kids menu and options, the food is lacking. Also the Mac and cheese bites are basically little mozzarella Nugs. Not Mac and cheese!Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids. But taste isn't great. I have a picky Eater she's eat plain foods but even hers was too bland. Dry Mac and cheese with no cheese at all. Basically just yellow macaroni. She added water to it. “I love all the ladies that work at this Carvel. They’re so nice whoever’s doing the hiring there is definitely choosing the best candidates for customer service. They always have a smile on their face or a suggestion for when I’m not sure what I wanna get.Parking: There is a parking lot to park in but if you happen to be there on a busy day, there is a side road and a gas station across the street that has plenty of parking that you are allowed to park on for free. There’s no restrictions. But I’ve never had an issue with parking.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly! What kid wouldn’t love an ice cream shop plus they have like the sweetest staff that works there“

“I ordered a custom cake for my brothers 16th birthday and it was amazing ! The woman who helped me was so friendly , and honest. When I told her I wanted black icing, she advised that black is difficult because it needs a bunch of different food coloring and doesn't taste good, so we ended up going with red. She really took her time to make sure we were on the same page and had everything correct. I was worried the picture would look tacky or blurry because its printed but it looked like it was drawn right on the cake. Definitely recommend this service !“

“I started going to this location 2 years ago, for a while I thought that the man helping me was rude and hated his job but once I got him to open up I realized he is hysterical and isn’t much for talking haha. He packs the cones with whatever ice cream and topping your taste buds desire( you can tell this is his favorite part), the service is quick and the facility is clean- what more can you ask for! Give this location and it’s staff members a chance and you won’t be sorry!!“

“I stopped in for ice cream, and my card kept getting declined, despite there being plenty of money on it. I kept asking the girls to scan the card at the top of the POS machine, and they kept telling me they cannot scan the card until the card was entered into the machine three times. I have never encountered this before.I really think there is a mistake, because the scan option was implemented to protect consumers from having to enter or swipe their cards at a POS machine. I never scan my card at retail establishments anymore; I always scan my card at the top of the machine, and my payment is always accepted. I am never told I need to enter my card three times before scanning.It ends up some lovely woman paid for my ice cream anyway, which I am highly appreciative of.“

They also give you some kind of red sauce for the chicken I didn't explore. The chicken didn't need anything, in my opinion. Perfect as is. The downside is parking, only two spots, and on a busy road, it's hard to get in. Finding an alternative and walking a few feet for this chicken is my answer. The cost was under $10 for three pieces and a waffle. They have been the for many years and directly across from KFC, so they are definitely doing something right. It's worth a try.“
