Not a great hangout spot because of the size, but if you’re looking to support a small business in the surprisingly small specialty coffee industry of Westchester this is a great place to visit!“

“Great caterer !!!! Deserves 10 stars! Fabulous four foot Charcuterie Board that served over 30 people. Salmon -Chicken- Shrimp and Cold Cuts with vegetables, cheeses, fruits and cheeses. Professional servers are top rated. Great to work with from the start of planning to day of. They did a Summer non alcoholic drink bar and an iced tea and iced coffee bar. Tasty ice cream chipwiches to top off a great party catered by La Promenade. Would recommend for your next party! “Came here for the first time today with my mom and the food was delicious, esp the coco bread, I was overwhelmed by the options and will be coming back to try the other foods that are offered such as the bread pudding which I regret not getting today :( but the patties also tasted delicious I got the chicken and beef and they tasted perfect!!

Also remember to bring cash only!!! And be respectful.

“The cookies are good but a bit over rated. I love the cool flavors and the fact that the menu changes weekly but sometimes the cookies are way too sweet. There is usually a long line at this location but the employees are pretty fast so the wait is never more than 5-10 minutes. It would be nice if there were places to sit inside the establishment.“

Jess was prompt and helpful in her communications, giving color and design thoughts for my vague idea of "bears," to help set my order. When I picked up the desserts, everything was packaged so securely I had no concern about getting it home safely. Most importantly, everything tasted and looked absolutely amazing! Everyone kept commenting on how adorable the bear cookies were, and I even got a couple "I'm not usually a cake person but these are delicious" about the cupcakes. They have many treats and I saw some gorgeously decorated chocolate strawberries and I thought the price was amazing for the presentation. I think a dozen strawberries were $36 which is a bargain compared to other places who make subpar looking strawberries . I would have loved to receive them as a gift myself !

We were able to combine both of our favorites in a beautiful 2 tier wedding cake. On our wedding day, they delivered directly to the venue. The cake looked stunning and tasted incredible. “Used to go the Mount Vernon shop when I was a kid, then after the fire and they moved to the Bronx..followed them down there- EVEN when the current owner bought from the gentile older man from MV... "Paul" has kept up standards. The Coco Breads are THE BOMB - I'd know, I was taught to make them at the bakery my Granny worked in Mo'bay every summer! A MUST HAVE !!!! Go out of your way. “Let me start with I am not one to write reviews however this one is worth the occasion. It was an absolute pleasure working with Wildly Cakes to get a cake for my bridal shower. We had a traveling themed bridal shower and Wildly Cakes was able to make this beautiful world map on the side. But it doesn’t just end there the cake itself tasted delicious. We got a vanilla cake with cookie butter filling and all my guests ranted and raved on how good it was. We actually have our wedding cake being made by them too and we cannot wait to see and taste it especially after this great first impression.“

“When in NYC, Take the 1 train to VanCortland Park and walk to Lloyds for the best Carrot Cake. Moist, fresh & still delicious.

Parking: If you get to VanCortland early, you should find parking. It is not readily available. You will get a ticket. Lloyd’s was the go to for cakes, when I lived in the Bronx. Lloyds has a variety of cakes and they do sell slices.“

“I’ve had better pies, but these are probably the best in the area. The fruit in everything is super fresh. It’s a cute lil bakery experience to visit. Would I wait on that long af line I’ve seen in the holiday photos? No. I’ve had better pie at Stop and Shop and ShopRite in Scarsdale. But I’d go back for the sheer variety in pies for sure.

The other offerings are great here, cookies, rainbow cookies, bread, Bundt cake, etc.

I want to settle an issue I’ve read about in these reviews. I ordered the jelly doughnuts just to see if it was even possible to suck the jelly out. It is DEFINITELY not possible to empty the doughnuts of jelly or even lick it out. I had five people try besides me. So, it seems like there are fluke experiences where, indeed, the doughnuts are NOT filled. I do not believe the customers should have faced blame for the barren doughnuts. May God protect you from such calamities.“
