“The customer service is wonderful, from Adrián specifically, and the food is even better. It manages to maintain the authentic cuisine of Mexico and at the same time provide a touch of modernity. Plus the party music and colorful lights simply bring a great atmosphere!“
“Lo recomiendo por el hambiente porque el servicio de las meseras es pesimo y la comida y los tragos tardan mas de una hora en entregartelos despues de ordenarlos y aunque ya tengas reservacion toda via tendras que esperar en la Estrada del restaurante un buen tiempo.“

“This is our new favorite spot in the neighborhood! We’ve sat in and also ordered from Seamless and they never disappoint. We love the tuna tiradito and veracruz ceviche. Everything is cooked perfectly and the margaritas are tasty and inexpensive. This place is located a bit off the beaten path but it should absolutely be packed everyday. Also, Oscar provides some of the best service I’ve had in years!“

“Sophistian is our go to neighborhood place for pizza because it’s delicious, and they give great service whether pick-up, or eating in (it’s so close that my daughter and I just walk over to pick-up, so we haven’t done delivery. They also have yummy sandwiches/wraps, and great salad options as well.
The best thing about Sophistian is that it’s run by lovely people who make you feel welcome, and really take care of you, which means so much in a local eatery.
Dietary restrictions: They have some salads that are gluten free.“

“The food here is always amazing no matter what I order...I especially love the toothpaste with chicken or spicy pork, chicken a la roma and recently discovered the chilli with onions, cheddar and sour cream, it's so good. The service is always friendly and cook what I want even though I might be awkward and ask for modifications, but they always come through. Especially Jordan and issabel are legends, always accommodating.“

“It was 4 am my friends and I were starving all McDonalds were closed we thought there were no food options and that we would have to go to bed hungry and we drove past this place and it was miraculously open! We were so happy. We ordered 5 tacos and the man behind the counter was super helpful and didn't care that it was 4 am. The tacos were AMAZING flavorful, juicy and just some of the best tacos ever! Thank you for being a late night hero!“

“This place is a bucket of drunks and lowlifes, the food is ok depending on what you order, the service is generally bad, the waitresses are constantly drunk and drinking with the "paisas" they are going to drink (free) ignoring you when you enter or drinking poorly the orders and yes, I hope the waitresses and the owner read it because he is the one who invites them and the others. If they fixed the service problem, made it more pleasant and removed the bar atmosphere of the Roosevelt there would be more people going to eat, Astoria has more clientele that is not from Paisa and avoids this place for the same reason. Get your heads out of the woods and I hope you exploit the potential you have in Astoria. For bars, bad service and free fare better in Roosevelt. Don't go to this place, mainly because of the attitude of the waitresses“
“I went last night to celebrate my cousins birthday, no complaints AT ALL, service was great food was delicious and the Owner is a sweet heart, very attentive, respectful and professional. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for more than 10 years, this time was definitely my best.“

“fell inlove with st james quesadillas from the moment I tried it ! The chicken quesadilla are my go to order, I love the crunchiness of the hard shell with cheese on the bottom, their signature green sauce is out of this world and is what makes the place so great. I would recommend to call and pick up your order since Its located inside a deli which sometimes can get packed and feel a bit overwhelming. Definitely recommend if you are around the area and in the mood for some quesadillas !“

“I had the best chorizo torta of my life here. I like trying tortas from Mexican places wherever I go to compare, and this place knocked it out of the park. It's locally owned and operated. Loved having a latte with the meal since it was kind of brunch.“
