“Amazing experience from start to finish. I'm always a little concerned about dining close to closing, but I was pleasantly surprised — nothing felt rushed or slapped together. The pasta tasted truly homemade: rich, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell they put so much care into every dish. The service was sincere and warm, which made the whole meal feel even more special. Such a beautiful little spot that I'd love to return to... but since we live in Hawaii, who knows when! Still, absolutely worth the visit.“

“Went with my husband for dinner, the food was delicious and fresh. My favorite thing was definitely the ricotta cake! Also Simon was amazing, professional and very knowledgeable about the menu, and amaros and grappas. He helped me pick out one I would like, since I wasn’t familiar with any of the ones they had on the menu. Overall a lovely experience. Will definitely be back!“
“Been a realtor in Brooklyn most my life and you know what they say location location location will this time it’s Pasta pasta pasta I’m mean it’s just pasta however if you like pasta and you don’t make it yourself this is the only place when I’m Brooklyn you need to go. If you care about fresh pasta—whether you’re a chef, a serious home cook, or simply someone who values true quality—this is a must-visit destination. A genuine temple of fresh pasta, and a place Brooklyn can proudly call its own. Beyond the pasta, the shop has a high-end Italian market vibe with a great selection of sauces, imported pantry staples, fresh mozzarella, and more — all at fair prices for New York City. It somehow strikes the perfect balance between old-school Italian neighborhood charm and quality you’d expect from a top artisanal producer. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, they let me taste their soon-to-be-offered sourdough pizza. Without question, that pizza alone is going to put this place on another level. Once it officially launches, expect lines as far as the eye can see — just for the pizza. Hey but don’t take my word for it what do I know’, go and see for yourself you could thank me later!“

“cameriera italiana con capelli corti. scortese e molto maleducata. non tornerò piu. non ha saputo ne servire il cliente oltre al fatto che dovrebbe farsi un corso di corretto italiano prima di parlare con un cliente in quel modo. pessima pubblicità al locale. peccato e mi dispiace ma non tornerò più.“

“I took my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday, and I just want to say that it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in my eight years of being in New York City. I'm a huge fan of this place not just because of the food, but because of the people behind the plates: the staff is incredibly attentive and kind. Special shout outs to Ronald, Anthony, Harley, and Kalvin, for going above and beyond and making this evening special and one I'll remember for a long time!“

“Maestro Pasta in New York is pure magic — a slice of Italy right in the heart of the city! The hospitality is warm, genuine, and makes you feel instantly at home. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal — come a casa. It was so irresistible that I went back four times in just one week! This place is a must-visit for anyone who loves Italian cuisine.“

“La Trafila is an absolute gem for anyone who loves real Italian pasta. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the passion and precision behind every strand of pasta they produce. This isn’t just a pasta shop — it’s a celebration of Italian tradition, texture, and taste.
What sets La Trafila apart is their dedication to freshness and authenticity. Every shape, from the delicate tagliolini to the perfectly ridged rigatoni, is crafted with care using traditional bronze dies (trafile in Italian — now you get the name!). The result? Pasta that holds sauce beautifully and cooks to perfection every time.
Whether you’re a home cook, a chef, or just a pasta lover, this place is heaven. Their seasonal specials are creative and delicious — think truffle-infused tagliatelle or pumpkin gnocchi in the fall. And the team? Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and proud of their work, as they should be.
La Trafila is a rare find in New York: a place where quality, tradition, and innovation meet. Once you try their pasta, there’s no going back.
Bravi!“

“Few places are as accommodating as the staff here. The menu, although on available digitally, is extensive. Large selection of GF (gluten free) items. You can start with apps, choose from pizza or pasta as an entree. It is BYOB and that can make for a fun evening. They will accommodate to suit taste, we had someone that was sensitive to sodium, they adjusted sted the entree to suit. The place is small, the food tasty and seriously, the service is over the top.“

“I love coming here whenever I’m in the Heights because there’s always something new on the menu. If you’re grabbing a bite around lunchtime, you cant beat the focaccia and sandwiches– but the rotating soups/stews on the menu are like a hidden gem. If you come earlier, get one of their delicious cappuccinos and a sampling of pastries. Pictured is a brioche filled with fresh ricotta and lemon curd. Just perfect!“

“Durso’s Pasta & Ravioli Company is a beloved Flushing staple, offering an authentic Italian culinary experience rooted in tradition and quality. As soon as you step into the shop, you’re greeted by the many inviting aromas, the sight of hanging prosciutto, and a beautiful display of over 50 freshly prepared dishes, which are made daily.
The sandwiches are absolutely delicious, generously portioned, and perfect for a very hungry individual like myself or for sharing. If you are ordering ready to eat items, plan ahead as this is a strictly take out establishment.
You’ll also find a wide variety of gourmet, ready to enjoy meals, imported cheeses and meats, and Italian pantry staples and gift items. Their selection of homemade ravioli, fresh pastas, and sauces from classic marinara to rich bolognese is unmatched. The service is top notch, and the ambiance has a warm, family feel that makes every visit feel like coming home.
Durso’s combines quality, tradition, and hospitality a true Italian culinary gem in Queens.“
