“I recently found this place in the last few months as I go for therapy right down the road. I’m not from Saratoga area so I don’t know many food places. Since the first time I ordered, I have gotten lunch basically every week now! The customer service is great, the food is amazing, and they give you a huge serving of food. I just can’t say enough good things about it. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for somewhere to eat!“

“I have been getting the same omelet every Sunday for the last 6 years, and will continue to do so indefinitely. Ribbon catered my wedding in May '24, and long before then they were practically family. This is the best place in Ballston Spa for more than just king Kev's cooking. Wonderful little place filled with happy people always with a smile on their face and a plate of something spectacular always on the way to a table. and that's not even mentioning why Kevin started the place and all the victims of breast cancer he's helped. 💗 love y'all 5 stars is hardly enough.“

“I will never eat here again I ordered their afternoon tea. A plain salad plate which consisted of greens two slices of cucumber and shredded carrots, a cup of soup and I wanted a scone. They were out of scones so I reluctantly agreed to a piece of cake. When I saw they charged me 29 I spoke to the manger explaning my complaint. She refused to acknowledge that the meal was overpriced for what I had. The waitress never stated there was an upcharge. Had I gotten a sandwich I would feel different but for what I got the price was waaay out of proportion. Never never never eating here again.“

“Not quite a da Vinci masterpiece.

Wanted to try to place for a while now but their kitchen hours would end just before I could get out of work on a normal day, but at some point they started to sell liquor and thus were forced to keep the kitchen open during all hours. Works for me.

Ordered online using their website, going with a slice of the quiche, a Vanilla Protein shake, and the Joe Buss'n which comes with chips. Came to just under $36 with tip, pretty standard for Cafe local.

Pickup was simple, right on the outer side of the mall, though they were waiting to make the final touches on my shake. Which as soon as I got it I could tell it was really, watery, which I confirmed back in my car. Typically the protein shakes I have had are thick, like a smoothie, I mean I added bananas, blueberries, strawberries, peanut butter, and a handful of flavors. Yet it was about as thick as the almond milk I picked. Great flavor mind you, great flavor, but no substance or body. To say I was disappointed, would be about right.

Back home I dug into the quiche and the sandwich. The quiche was like many I have had, great cheesy and eggy flavor, the crust was buttery, and the veggies added a nice refreshing edge. Pretty solid. The amusingly named sandwich was, different, but in a mostly ok way. Loved how crispy the ciabatta bread was, the pepper jack was a great choice, chicken and bacon was good, and the veggies were also great, but something about the BBQ sauce muddled the waters. I don't know why, it should have been a good compliment to the meat, maybe it was just too intense? Whatever the reason I found the sandwich to be pretty whatever, nothing to write home about.

Even if they don't show it to customers, it's critical that at least the staff have access to this information to be able to alert customers whether or not their allergen is in a particular food item.“

“Our miniature schnauzer Lulabelle is our Fighting princess! ! She was unfortunately diagnosed with an oral malignant melanoma In June 2024 . After having surgery to remove the tumor, she is on a soft diet, so there are not many treats she is able to have. We are so glad that we found the lazy dog cookie Co! Her favorite is blueberry and peanut butter !soft baked treats!

“It's my go to grocery store. For items you can find at Hannaford or Market 32, I think you pay a little more, but there's a lot you can't find in most other stores that make it worth the visit. I appreciate the wide selection of yogurts, the cereals I have trouble finding elsewhere, and most of all the bulk commodity offerings. I get my nuts, my tea, my rice and other grains, and my kombucha all from bulk or tap. It has more than you think! If you like exploring grocery stores, give it a look.“

“Honestly, I consider Panera Bread my go-to place for hangovers. Whenever I’ve had a rough morning after partying, their green smoothie heals me within the hour. Whenever I think “hungover,” I think Panera Bread.

They have treats available, but I’m not a fan since they don’t taste fresh in my experience. My friend also had a sandwich there and came home the same day complaining about her stomach hurting.

The atmosphere is nice, but it feels basically like a Starbucks for people between 40–80 years old. There were a lot of very mature guests there. The employees are nice, and usually they seem to be in their early twenties or early thirties.“
