Even if they don't show it to customers, it's critical that at least the staff have access to this information to be able to alert customers whether or not their allergen is in a particular food item.“

“Last night I ordered a cheeseburger for my wife and chicken tikki masala for me. My wife's favorite burger is Burger King. She said the burger was very good and almost as good as Burger King. Her burger was much bigger from Kabob House so she only ate half. While she was enjoying her burger. I was totally enjoying my chicken tikki masala. i wanted to eat half but I kept mixing a little more of the red sauced chicken with the rice. It was so fresh and the spice was so good. I was so full yet wanted more. The only thing I could not understand was, how and why would people not buy a burger here instead of Burger King? It even came with fries. My wife said because it had no onions. Later that evening I heard half a cheeseburger calling me. I cut off a large bite and was amazed by the thickness of the burger. The meat quality was far superior to any fast food burger. I am declaring Kabab House the burger winner. The food here is excellent. What's not to like ? I think they need an interior decorator. The place needs new tables and chairs with a better layout. Brighten things up.“

“to the people commenting on the lack of ambiance...? i think it is fine. for me the music is "ambient" enough, along with the lovely wall mural, and photos showing what the food is....not to mention the collection of both holly AND "bolly"wood stars and starlets, adorning a back side wall. the dining area is always SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, and the bathroom shines. they keep the prices very reasonable, which is a HUUGE plus for me. the food is always great, fresh, and tasty, not to mention a lot healthier than the traditional american diet. staff is attentive. i never felt they "watch to see how many dishes you take", as someone suggested. they are likely making sure people get FRESH plates with every visit to the steam tables., since this is actually a restaurant/buffet health law...i have never ever, once felt like they wanted to "rush" me out. they are always very welcoming and accommodating.. I can usually find a seat for two, but I would call ahead especially for more than two people. This is a great place. One of my favorites.“

“Food is great and service is great. The only issue I have is your gift card policy between Albany and Saratoga. I’ve had family be told you can use a gift card at either location and I have been told it must be used where it was purchased? My parents bought a gift card at the Albany location for my wife and I. The back of the card had Saratoga on it. Thankfully, we presented the gift card receipt after being told we could only use it in Saratoga when the receipt showed it was purchased in Albany. Thankfully, the server and the manager didn’t give up on the situation and were able to manually enter the card number in despite the magnetic strip on the card not working. Bravo to them! However, the only gift cards you are able to purchase in Albany say Saratoga on the back. So if you have a gift card, you better bring a gift card receipt or you may not be able to use it. I hope you guys look at the policy. My only negative. Other than that sushi is fresh and quick and great service !“

“I attended Skidmore from 1978-1982. Compared to what it was like back then, the dining hall is far and away a 5! It's a massacre. Those giving low ratings have no idea what college dining halls were once like, even at high-priced schools. It's been a huge change that has greatly benefited the younger generations. Be appreciative. If you had to eat the way we used to have to, you would probably be traumatized.It's interesting how it's possible to rate individual buildings on Skidmore campus and not just Skidmore itself.“

“I will never eat here again I ordered their afternoon tea. A plain salad plate which consisted of greens two slices of cucumber and shredded carrots, a cup of soup and I wanted a scone. They were out of scones so I reluctantly agreed to a piece of cake. When I saw they charged me 29 I spoke to the manger explaning my complaint. She refused to acknowledge that the meal was overpriced for what I had. The waitress never stated there was an upcharge. Had I gotten a sandwich I would feel different but for what I got the price was waaay out of proportion. Never never never eating here again.“

“It's my go to grocery store. For items you can find at Hannaford or Market 32, I think you pay a little more, but there's a lot you can't find in most other stores that make it worth the visit. I appreciate the wide selection of yogurts, the cereals I have trouble finding elsewhere, and most of all the bulk commodity offerings. I get my nuts, my tea, my rice and other grains, and my kombucha all from bulk or tap. It has more than you think! If you like exploring grocery stores, give it a look.“
