“My good friend and myself stumbled into Dolce Vita not too long ago when it was the only restaurant in Nyack that was opened very late. We struck gold. We have been back several times and the food, the service, the owner, the atmosphere are the very best . All are wonderful.“

“Wowsa what a meal!!! Friends had posted beautiful pics of their meals from their tasting menu. It's cute: half the restaurant is a traditional dining room and the other is take out fish and chips. You can have a delicious meal a la carte or the tasting menu. I could not convince my husband to do the 15 course chef's tasting menu. But we did do the tasting menu with wine. Every dish was light, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed the wine pairings which were different (portuguese and spanish wines rounded out some American and South African wines). I am excited to come back to try more of their traditional menu and their namesake (fish and chips). Well worth a visit.“

“Food was good. The service was not. Our waitress did not smile much. She was playing with her cell phone when I approached to the service desk with computer and other billing stuff. She name starts with a C.I observed how she treated other customers, she was not warm nor smile either. I told myself, it was not me.“

“Why aren’t more people talking about this place??!!!??My friends and I went tonight night for dinner and drinks because we saw they had the speakeasy and we love that vibe.We decided to sit at the bar. Immediately, the bartender, Steven/Stephen, starts telling us about the place and it’s rich history. He was so kind and helpful the whole night. He made sure he connected with us for a great experience.We ordered espresso martinis, because obviously. They were INCREDIBLE. You can get it with or without Baileys which was nice. We even got decaf espresso. The level of sweetness was just right. The foam was foaming. They were truly a treat. 10/10. I also ordered a Tiramisu martini which came with a lady finger on top. This was a little stronger but still nice and creamy with great foam. 9/10.The food was absolutely DIVINE. He told us the food is made fresh because they don’t have a freezer..?!?!!? Impressive if true. We started off with the Arancini because they are my religion. Mouthwatering. The rice was perfectly cooked. The crispy outside was amazing. The flavors melded together well. 10/10. I had the Spicy Rigs. It was made with homemade pasta…!!!!!!!!!! I am not a pasta girly but when it’s homemade…consider me a pasta girly. The sauce was smooth and creamy. The tomatoes really came through. I wish the Calabrian chilis poked through a little more for more of a spice. However, the flavors were still balanced. 9/10.The vibes were immaculate! We got there about 7. A DJ started playing music around 9:30. It turned into a club vibe which was shocking. The music was blaring so it did become hard to hear each other. The music was still good though.They do have HH Monday - Friday which seems like really great deals on drinks/food.I would 100000000% come back here and recommend it to anyone. I hope to try their sister restaurant soon, Hudson Prime Steakhouse, which is the only steakhouse in Irvington apparently!!!For me to live in Westchester all my life and to not have heard of this place before is crazy! “I went for a hosted event. I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent! I will return soon to investigate further, but definitely stop by if you're in that area.Vegetarian options: The Quinoa salad with with cassava chips was mouth watering... in my opinion!“

Sometimes you get someone that just comes and refills your water and gets you napkins (which is perfect because food comes directly from the kitchen now) or you get someone who treats you like a child and kills your whole vibe.Best deal at this place: go on a Tuesday between 4:30 and 6, get 50% apps and happy hour. Then walk 50 feet across the mall and go see a $7 movie at AMC with your cheesecake creme brulee you brought with you (which you better clean up and throw out after yourself) then head home nice and sobered up:)“

“The Jazz Forum was a unique and special experience. Samuel Martinelli and his quartet are seasoned musicians with a delightful passion in their performance. They were outstanding . The service on the overall was on point . Courteous and inviting . The drinks and food are commendable .“

“The food is very good without having a huge, hard to choose from menu. All food that we've tried has been very good, but nothing beats the burger! Ambiance is great, but sometimes need to have the music turned down (loud in the bar area & it carries over to the dining room). Service is beyond wonderful! “Cute tavern! We have gone back now multiple times. They are so accommodating/knowledgeable with gluten free! There are only a few items that you have to call ahead for 24 hours. But almost everything on their meal is gluten free. I LOVE the turkey shepherds pie with sweet potato mash on the top. And they carry gluten free cake from the local bakery. We also asked about sodium accommodations for my FIL, and the owner said that it could easily be done. So happy to support this business.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and low sodium“

Frankie saw that we were interested in the building because the restaurant is built within an old bank with some Jersey history. So he gave us a little tour and was super hospitable. Our waiter was also excellent and professional. My table ordered burrata, garganelli vodka, sunday sauce, octopus, & salmon, and everyone was happy with their dish. The food, hospitality, ambience, staff, and service make for a great spot for dinner dates, celebration, or just a good time! Personal preference - I loved seeing the open concept kitchen in the back and the brick oven. It adds to the experience of dining and the kitchen doesn't seem so far away. “This is a very nice spot. If you are a connoisseur of dive bars like I am, you will love the decor and vibe. The customers and bartender were all friendly. Price was about average I guess. Regarding food, they said they only had a small bar pie, and that limited menu sort of gave me the impression that it was probably frozen and heated up, so I passed on the food and just enjoyed a beer and the atmosphere. Definitely a nice spot to grab a drink though. Especially if you are a local in the area of this bar, I definitely recommend it. “Formerly at another location in Spring Valley, Little Vietnam has expanded its menu and its dining space-including outdoor seating. The menu and the specials were difficult to choose between; our waiter knew every detail of the preparation, and it all sounded appetizing. Finally we opted for our usual favorites: a Spring Roll appetizer, basa filet in a clay pot, and tempura-fried soft-shell crab. The basa was delicious with a dark, caramelized sauce and tender, sweet filets. The crab was meaty and crisp, served on a bed of greens and cilantro. I’m hoping for a return visit soon so I can eventually work my way throughb this great menu.“

Allow me to recommend Docas for you...you cant go wrong with their entrees of either meats or seafood...grilled branzini is excellent...on Saturdays they have dobrada, which translates to tripe...and if you find their Osso Bucco on Sundays, you HAVE to get it...homemade desserts and great place to chat a soccer game...or just "hear" Portuguese ppl be...Portuguese“

We've eaten here a couple of times in the food's been good. I was a little disappointed in the chicken scarp as the potatoes were cold in the middle was kind of strange. “Great local vibes here with a solid food and drink menu. Great service as well. Outdoor seating in the warmer months. My only knock is the noise. They have brick walls in the inside which don't absorb sound. It gets loud when crowded, which makes conversation a challenge. Something to consider if that's important you. Also, live music can be very loud. I wish they'd dial the volume down a tad on their speakers.“

“PROS: This bar is very quaint and located near the heart of Nyack. Has tons of parking in the lot across the street. The bartender was very nice, place was clean, and it seemed like the local bar every native goes to CONS: The owner was a tad mean to us and they only have hot dogs there that they overcook. It's also cramped inside OVERALL: Not my go-to place for the night but I do recommend coming in every now and then just to see if its active with people“

“The avocado blt was awesome. Pretty good air filtration for smoking a cigar. That can be a big issue with some places. 15$ cut fee at first was questionable but i get it, its nice not to have a bunch of bums coming in and not spending just to smoke. You could also just buy a cigar for a little over 20 and that counts.Love when a bartender can read your body language when you want to have a conversation and when you don't.Will def be coming back.“

“Gildea's is an unforgettable Irish pub that I look forward to visiting when I come up from the city. Their Guiness is on point. Their food is served fresh and tasty, and they had a nice, relaxing atmosphere. Grab a drink, catch up with locals, and watch a ball game from their high definition screens. I was last here about 20 years ago but to be honest, like most, I have zero reason to ever be in Verplanck. This evening I was down there and made the immediate decision to dine-in the second I saw their big sign on Broadway. The place looks basically the same as I remember, very neat, clean and of course with a stellar menu. I observed Carmine (at the bar) preparing some amazing looking cocktails! Great service, well priced, friendly staff and great dishes! One thing I want to point out is how the first forkful of my cold antipasto salad appetizer immediately tasted soooo different. I wasn't expecting fresh, 'sharp' provolone -- no sliced ham here kids. Tonight was an unexpected treat! I will again grab my passport and cross the border into Westchester to spend more time here! “I've been here a couple times for different things, a drink, a night out, and a couple showers. The place is perfect for a smaller shower. They have a buffet option that allows for a brunch option. Their food is delicious, especially their breakfast potato & onion option. They also have waffles, fresh made pancakes and omelets, pasta, chicken, a carving station, and more. Would recommend hosting something here but again, it's limited spacing.“
