“we just took a side trip here because I saw an ad for a cute heart shaped wine bottle of strawberry wine. it was amazing! such refreshing delicious unusual flavors, free tasting, and the lady was super friendly. I could have bought a million bottles.“

“We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon. It wasn’t very busy which was very nice. We were able to do our wine tasting and chat about the history of the place, the wines , and the region. It was an enjoyable time. I have never had sparking burgundy champagne, it was delicious. We had a great experience.“

We did tastings and I did the cookie tasting that was a winter special. 10/10 recommend their wines; Sweet Walter holds a special place in my heart. I can’t wait to come back again. We weren’t originally going to eat there but they had a corn chowder special thag was to die for! We also tried the crab cake special. I’m usually not a huge fan of crab cakes but they became a favorite! Also can’t forget to mention the amazing view; pictures don’t do it justice.“

The tasting room is beautiful and speaks to the care that the winery takes with every aspect of your experience with their wines. Heron Hill sets the mark for Finger Lakes wineries.“

“The staff was great, the wines were a little on the bland side but still above average and well made. The room was dark but welcoming. They had a very nice selection of meats, cheese, crackers, and other snacks. I would give this one another try and hopefully the wines will have some more pop and character next time.“
