“Great little local ice cream shop! We stopped in on an unseasonably hot October day to get cones. Rainbow sherbet and chocolate chocolate chip both hit the spot.Good value for the cones and the ice cream was good. One thing I wish they had would be tables or benches.Kid-friendliness: A very kid friendly establishment, although there’s no customer bathroom inside or seating.“
“Amazing experience here! Ordered a cake last minute for our engagement photos… Wanted something vintagey and sweet. They went above and beyond and it looked PERFECT and tasted just as good! “I am a cake decorator, as a hobby. When I can't make my own design, I have always looked for a bakery that could make what I see ... Whisk not only makes delicious, moist cakes but they are absolutely stunning and priced right. I just bought my second cake from them. One in March and went back and ordered again in April. We couldn't have been happier.“
“Wow! Exceeded my expectations! Decided to try this bakery after I saw a cake they did for my friend. The cake was not only so beautiful but it tasted amazing ! I ordered a red velvet cake because it’s my husbands favorite . I’m not myself usually a fan of red velvet but I think I could’ve easily eaten the entire cake by myself. It was moist and sweet but not overly sweet. Perfect . I believe it was the owner helping me at the shop and she was very nice as well. Will definitely be back !“

“The town of islip is your typical Main Street. The best part is the very popular homemade ice cream shop. You name the flavor- they have it. Even mini ice cream Sunday’s. Seating was limited, the staff was friendly and the ice cream delish. ?“
“This was my second visit to this adorable shop. The displays are always filled with delightful treats and an amazing variety. Last time, we sampled one of each of their macarons. Perfection. From the feet on the macarons to the light but flavorful fillings, we knew we had to return for more treats. This visit the macaron shelf was filled with small individual cakes. We could not resist. We tried the carrot cake and red velvet cakes and I opted for a black and white cookie as well. Service was fast and the ladies at this shop are very amicable. I appreciate and value good service and this location is top notch. The store is clean and they have a drink station also. We will most definitely be coming back again. I just have to try the spritz cookies. I would like to perhaps get an assortment to try one of each.“

“The last time I went to an Ice Cream store that provides their own custom flavors was in Carey, North Carolina. This store is located in a small strip mall with ample parking. From what I read; Ice Cream Social has several flavors of ice cream along with vegan flavors. They do have traditional flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, and cookie dough, but they are constantly designing new flavors. I tried many flavors before choosing the pumpkin pie flavor ice cream. But I did also like the apple cider donut and Coco Almond Joy. Next time I will explore other interesting creations. The staff was kind enough to afford me the opportunity to taste many creative flavors. It was not easy to settle on just one flavor. I recall a family member explaining to me what it takes to create these interesting flavors, and he stated it is all in the Cream mix. If you want to enjoy high quality ice cream with many creative flavors, one must indulge in Ice Cream Social.“

“Stopped here to get a St. Joseph pastry and ask the young lady behind the counter to give me two pignoli cookies. Unfortunately by the time I got home the pignoli cookies were in 100 pieces don’t know why they gave me such scary looking cookies I did not ask for anything for free the other quality of the pastries that I purchased were fantastic, especially the St. Joseph’s Day cannoli cream filled pastry so far is my favorite But the pignoli cookies were disappointing when I got home to give to my mom and they were all broken apart. I’m sure the owners don’t want people to leave negative feedback, or for the quality of the products that are to be enjoyed or to always be top-notch I’ll be back in the future they’ll take a little more pride in what they’re selling“
