My party selected AYCE D because we wanted to have the best experience and value possible. Unfortunately, for $150, not yet including tax and tip, you don't get anything fun to drink and desserts are not included. IMO, this makes D egregiously overpriced for the casual diner. I recommend C or lower for most folks who are just looking to enjoy the experience, unless you are a registered human compactor for wagyu biomass, then D is the correct pick.

I feel that to justify $150, the establishment should include at least 1 drink and 1 dessert to really maximize value for the diners.

“Came here with family for a causal dinner. We were surprised how generous the portions of the dishes were and they were all reasonably priced. On top of it, all the dishes were pretty tasty and reminded me of the flavors from my childhood. The owner and waiters were friendly and made sure the dishes came out fast as we have small children with us. Definitely recommend this place, it is a neighborhood gem.“

“Unique menu item, beef intestines. After you grill them, you can order rice to be fried on the grill. There's a vegetable platter add on for your BBQ but it's not really worth it. There's free appetitizers. The rest rooms are really clean for the women side and one is currently out of order. I love the bbq here. First time and they grill it for you and it's quite busy on a Sunday night dinner time but there's still 4 tables open. Nice rave vibe.“

Very crispy hot honey chicken sandwich- I just didn't like that you have to pay extra for lettuce and tomato... Otherwise it comes plain with just bread and meat (I didn't find this hot at all, but I admittedly have a better than avg spicy tolerance). Would love if they introduced a more veggie involved version (lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles etc.) that was actually hot!

I also got the waffle fries and honestly they were amazing. I prefer skinnier fries and usually find waffle fries ok because they're too thick / I like the crunchy ratio to soft potato better in regular straight cut fries. But these waffle fries are thinner than standard (*ahem Chick-fil-A) and quite crunchy! House made sweet tea was ... Too sweet, unsurprisingly.

One thing I hated was the packaging for the sandwich .. it comes in a plastic clamshell, plastic??? Why ? who does this in this day and age, switching to cardboard boxes would be an improvement. Please get with the times ?? otherwise food is good and I'd return!“

“The food was really good! Loved the pulled pork and the mac and cheese was super tasty! The collars greens were were cooked well although lacking a little acid for my taste but that was quickly remedied by adding a little of the Carolina bbq sauce which added a mustardy kick. The service was friendly and attentive. My only complaint is the overuse of disposable plastic dinnerware, cups, and serving vessels. If they used more eco-friendly products or traditional plates, silverware, and glasses I'd love this place a lot more. 😏“

“We got the 2 meat sampler with ribs and moist brisket. We also got the mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, and sweet potatos. The sides were all great! Brussel sprouts were our favorite but potatos were great too. The ribs were just ok, slightly better than grocery store. The brisket was good but not great, could have been more tender and flavorful. Good for ny bbq but not bbq in general“

“I came on a Saturday for lunch with a friend and there was no wait. I was surprised at the quality and variety considering this is $40 Ayce. My favorite was the Tom Yom soup, steamed eggs, spicy beef and the mango sticky rice! My only complaint is that 90 minute is short between the time you take to choose your food and grill it. At the end you can get a gatcha (1 per table). We got a free mouthwash which was pretty random Overall I am definitely planning to come back and take friends here!“

“I grew up in Elmhurst and getting skewers at this neighborhood staple as a snack was always a treat I looked forward to. Now, I’m happy that we can buy as many skewers as we dare (before we pass the threshold of waking up with a sore throat the next morning).This Chinese BBQ skewer cart is a no-frills, mom and pop food stand on the corner of Whitney Ave & Broadway by the LIRR tracks. Most of their skewers cost between $2-$3; they’re perfect for a late night eats adventure! The seasoning the sweet Chinese couple uses has just the right amount of cumin, heat, and spice. We sat at one of their 3 tables this past Monday evening and saw a steady stream of customers lining up for their grilled skewers. When all 3 tables were full, a 4th table and set of stools was set up as well. The cart is at their spot daily between 5:30pm-1:30am - you’ll find them if you see the smoke!? I don’t know if the reviews that say the service is bad are because there is no place to complain, or because they are malicious comments about business wars. How can any store run by Northeasterners be unenthusiastic?
1. It tastes good. You can just eat the three delicacies here. It’s so delicious that I feel like I’ll be back in China instantly. The cold chicken rack is so sweet and authentic. The small skewers are delicious. It’s not spicy enough and they thoughtfully gave me more chili powder.
2. The portion is large. Two people ate for less than 200 including tips. If they couldn’t eat it, they packed it for breakfast and lunch the next day. 200 can eat three meals, which is still enough to fill you up.
3. The service is good. When ordering, the waiter warned you that you may not be able to finish your meal. After that, the drinks were served very enthusiastically and quickly when changing tables. If you have any requests, you immediately agree to them and can also chat with you.
