“This spot has the best Korean BBQ Pork and plenty of lettuce to go with it. High quality meat, good texture, no smell. Setup is simple and look exactly like those in K-drama. The air suction device work well here. Got some bbq smell on my clothing but it's minor.“

Most kbbq joints tend to have a bit more options for their cuts of meat and side dishes but are far more expensive. “My opinion is 8.7/10. Overall good time. Bonchon hit right, over 5 choices. Meat was tender and flavorful. Well priced at $45 for galbi and sides. “I am very familiar with the korean restaurants in the flushing area and not sure how I missed this place but have to say the food was AMAZING. Everything from the banchan (side dishes) to the meat marinade quality was excellent! Jeolla flavors came on strong (known for their deliciousness). Definitely a hidden gem! Also, recommend their dakdoritang. Probably top 3 I’ve ever had in my life. And definitely ask them to do the finisher with rice at the end for this.“

“This is a traditional Korean restaurant and it’s been there around a decade. They have various dishes from BBQ to pot strews. Their stir fry spicy squid is the best I ever tasted in Korean style.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. I recommend this place if you want to hangout with few friends or families.“

“Been here a few times, the first time being over a year ago. Arguably, my first time here was excellent: food was tasty, service was good and they took care of my small group at the time. Over the next few visits, however, the meats didn't taste as good (later learned they changed the sauce) and service wasn't that great either. I heard the management changed a few months back and came here with my family again (for mother's Day). The food was good, though how the meat gets cooked totally depends on the staff. Side dishes are on the traditional side but I found them to be tasty.
The service can be a bit slow, especially when they're busy and you do need to ask for things here and there instead of the staff being super proactive about taking care of you (like asking for water). Personally, as long as the food is tasty, lower levels of service don't bother me that much. My mom enjoys eating here so I'll come back for sure, probably on a less busy day too. I could see this place being a bit difficult for non-korean parties eating here though but the staff does speak some English so it's not like you can't get by.“

“The food and service here is great! We got the beef combos which came with the steamed egg and soft tofu stews. It was a lot of food and this spot definitely had us stuffed by the end. We also ordered the seafood pancake and it was very delicious. There were also a handful of banchans that came alongside the bbq and it was perfect. Our server was also very attentive and helped us grill all of the meats. Highly recommend this spot for your kbbq cravings!“

I was surprised that the employees were not friendly when I went to restaurants and other places in Korea, but at Chilsung Garden, which I first visited after coming to the U.S., all the employees greeted me with a smile and were very friendly.
