Mapo BBQ Reviews
One of the oldest Korean restaurant in the area.
Foods and prices are par.
Most kbbq places are good. This place hits all the checkmarks
One of my favorite Korean BBQ. I highly suggest you bring your friends and family. They don't skimp on the bonchon/free appetizers. They also offer decent choices.

Mapo BBQ is a charming and comforting Korean restaurant located on a quiet street in Flushing, Queens. The food is absolutely amazing, consistently satisfying, and really good. The highlight is the amazing BBQ cooked over charcoal, which gives the meat a perfect crust and nice char flavor. Recommended items include the marinated Galbi, the non-marinated beef, and the wonderfully tender G3. The grilled beef is tender and juicy.
The restaurant offers great portion sizes and a wide variety of flavorful side dishes, known as banchan, which are bottomless and free of charge. These include items like kimchi soup, flurry steamed eggs, BBQ corn and veggies, and Jae Chae. An aunty helps grill the meat at the table. The service is amazingly great, friendly, and treats everyone equally. The owner is very friendly and sometimes offers complimentary items like seafood jeon.
The space is small and tiny, so it gets packed; arriving early is advised. It is a perfect spot to gather with friends, offering a reliable and casual vibe that feels like eating at a friend’s home, especially at night. It is a great place for casual BBQ cravings where customers will definitely be back.
