“Every time I show up, the employees suggest the best food available, they are generous always. If the container is empty, they walk to the kitchen to refill for fresh food.
They have good attitude.
The food is always on point, it’s hard to find the right place to dine for less than $20 dollars.

“This restaurant was on my list for a while and was happy to finally stumble upon it. Our waiter Johnathan was great, witty, and knowledgeable. We had the draft beer, esquites, tacos de Barbacoa, duck mole, and the pastry/hot chocolate dessert. Food was balanced and delicious. If I had to be critical for this restaurant to reach its peak success- I would say the mole did not come out as hot as it could have (was just slightly warm) and the tacos de barbacoa could have used more balancing and freshness to it. Would definitely recommend and come back“

I met the owner Carolina, she is absolutely delightful. The space itself is really cool, and word is definitely spread in as to how awesome the food is. “One of my favorite place to grab lunch during lunch break. Usually like their burrito bowl. Like the food but front cashiers behavior is not nice. All the time they make faces as if they are tired and not at all welcoming.

“Quick eats spot that I think is underrated. Amount of food is reasonable for the price and not to mention delicious. I ordered takeout but there are about 3 tables in the restaurant for dine-in. Also, it’s a mom and pop shop and their daughter works the register. They’re super respectful and sweet. You should definitely go support them and try their yummy food!“

“Decided to treat myself to dinner and went to check out this place. Came in during a dinner rush and was seated right away. A nice dark atmosphere. I ordered the NY strip steak and I gotta say it was amazing. Cooked to perfection, melted in my mouth. Cooked like a real steak a perfect medium rare. So good on its own and didn't any sauce but it came with a delicious arbol chilli salsa. Great service with friendly staff. I can't wait to come back and try the lamb tacos amongst other things. I highly recommend a lovely dinner here“

“What a gem! I stopped by Ay Chiuwawa in Astoria and was blown away. The place is super clean, the vibe is welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment I walked in.

I ordered the birria tacos and they were absolutely amazing — packed with flavor, cheesy, juicy, and just the right amount of heat. You can tell they put care into their food. Everything tasted fresh and authentic.

I pass this place on my way to work every day so I was always curious about it but never went until I had a crazy craving for quesadillas that wouldn’t be satisfied by Taco Bell or a generic restaurant. Something about this place seemed “real” so I figured “why not?” and went and I’m so glad I did. The prices were a little on the higher side but when I saw the amount of food I got I understood.
