“We decided as Suffolk County residents to take a ride towards Nassau County and wound up in the beautiful town of Bayville. While there we came across Mill Creek Tavern. Getting there a little earlier guaranteed us a spot in a small parking lot but certainly noticed many parking areas on the street would accommodate all. We were greeted by an extraordinary friendly staff that accommodated one of us with impaired hearing by putting us in an area that would have the least amount of noise as this was a Saturday evening. We were fortunate to get two service persons, our first one was Sue who was pleasant friendly and very patient as this was our first visit. Jean then became our server and we couldn't say enough great things about her. Personality experience humorous courteous all rolled up into one. Our drinks were professionally made and the food delicious. We left Mill Creek and agreed in changing our reservation for next week in another Nassau restaurant, and come back to Mill Creek. So thank you all for making our "virgin cruise" to Mill Creek Tavern, a great one.“

“Here’s the thing—Season Bistro is the best restaurant in Long Island. I know how big a statement that is. Go eat there and tell me I’m wrong though. The chef is brilliant, creative, and does things with pork belly that normal chefs would rave about! The entire menu is amazing. And that menu changes 4 times a year—depending on, yes, the season. “My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“Noodumpling in Hicksville is an absolute gem! I stopped in recently and was blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. The dumplings are some of the best I’ve had—juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care.
The staff was super friendly and patient when explaining the menu, and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the whole restaurant feels clean and welcoming.

“We moved off Long Island over 8 years ago and always loved la Parma when we lived here even though it was an hour drive for us to enjoy the amazing food. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!“

The atmosphere is charming and kept very clean. My dad ordered the French toast deluxe and truly enjoyed it. It was fluffy, juicy, and satisfying. I had the Mediterranean omelette. It was very flavorful and fluffy as well. Not every diner is created equal. The lovely woman behind the counter told us this establishment is at least 60 years old. It's such a slice of nostalgia. “AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“
