“We recently ordered lunch from The Beacon Daily for a group of 20 people attending a special event weekend at Glynwood in Cold Spring, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly remarkable. He thoughtfully provided compostable plates, napkins, and flatware and made sure every aspect of the order was handled flawlessly. It is rare to find a business owner so personally invested in ensuring a customer's event is successful. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. The event planner shared that the lunch was extremely well received, with guests offering numerous compliments throughout the afternoon. Everything was fresh, delicious, beautifully prepared, and perfect for our group. Chris went above and beyond in every way, and the combination of outstanding food and exceptional customer service made The Beacon Daily one of the highlights of the event weekend. “We frequent this subway often, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about it. On Memorial Day, we didn't even think that their hours would be any different, but upon walking in, we realized that they closed in five minutes. Having both worked in food and beverage, my husband and I both said that we felt horrible that they are closing so soon and that we would just eat somewhere else. Joy, the owner, was more than happy to make us food even though we told her we didn't mind leaving since we knew they were closing and trying to clean up. Not only did she make us feel welcome, she continued to have a conversation with us as well as my two-year-old daughter (all with a smile on her face). She didn't rush making our sandwiches and she kept reminding us that she was so happy to have our business. This is one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had, especially at a time when most other people would be angry that we were walking in 5 minutes before close. Not only is the staff awesome, but the food is wonderful and fresh every time and the store is very clean. See y'all soon!“

“We dropped in to Jersey Mike's in Wappingers Falls on Tuesday June 30th for some late lunch. We were greeted by two terrific young men, both smiling and eager to provide some delicious food AND give us a stellar customer experience. They prepared a tasty, robust salad for me and my wife ordered a hot meal from the grill. Jabrill and Chikezie made us the best meals ever and they did it with warmth and great care. We are super grateful for these two young men and we hope you'll go over and see for yourself just how awesome Jersey Mike's is. Thank you Guys!!“

“This is an excellent spot for sandwiches. From the moment I arrived, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience enjoyable. The service was quick and attentive, and they made sure everything was just right. The food was amazing, with fresh ingredients and great flavor in every bite. “As soon as I walked in, Joshua greeted me. He probably would have started my order right then if I yelled it to him. He was attentive, engaging, and very pleasant throughout.

The restaurant was clean, the beverage fridge was fully stocked, and he seemed to be on his own. Great experience. Keep up the great work, Josh.

“Food here is always excellent. Waayyyy better than the Charley's in Walmart. They're always so so nice here and I am always satisfied with my food. Today (June 6, around 2pm) there were some grouchy entitled customers in front of us who did nothing but complain and demand a refund. The Charley's staff did an amazing job at handling them. Everyone at this location deserves a hug and a raise. 10/10!
