“My new go-to! Incredibly friendly staff and always willing to go the extra to make you something that may not be on the menu . They have a variety of hot foods and a great breakfast sandwich! So grab your breakfast and your lunch before you head to the train! (Tip- they offer for a free soda with the lunch special). They have everything that I need when I’m not in the mood to run to the supermarket. There’s a lot of healthy options here as well. Including cereals. You don’t see that in a convenience store too often. I also buy a lot of the prepackaged fruit because it’s fresher than anywhere that I found locally and incredibly priced under $5!!!“

“First time buying lunch here I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce , tomato, mayonnaise and oil & vinegar. Perfect portion and flavor not too bulky unlike other delis that put so much stuff in the sandwich you’d be overwhelmed. I pretty much ate all in one sitting. I have very sharp ears for some reason I heard him say something after I ordered I forgot to ask to toast the roll. So I saw him put the entire bread with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato on the grill. The guy looked a little grumpy or just his normal demeanor who knows I’ve never been there before lol. Sandwich roll price $9.75 plus tax came out $10.30.“

“Went here for a Bacon Egg and Cheese. After tax with card it was $6 which was disappointing especially considering the lack of egg bacon and cheese compared to bread. The order came out fast and the guy who helped me was nice. It was a good sandwich but there are plenty of other places charging the same price or less for a much fuller sandwich that tastes just as good. I get the economy is bad but I’d rather the base sandwich be another ridiculous dollar more for a reasonable amount of fillings.“

“Always always fantastic! Agree with early reviewer who commented, “Don’t be fooled by “deli” in the name. This is seriously good cuisine.” Since day 1, consistently the best quality take-out in the area. Menu is much broader than suggested by the name. No reason to go anywhere else for a sandwich (any type), taco, entrée, or any other food to get on the run. Every item is homemade including the desserts and frozen treats. Fabulously warm and helpful staff. And remember, there’s parking in the back. (No seating or tables.)“

I had the penne in tomato sauce, which was the best homemade pasta sauce I've had in decades. Fresh cilantro, fresh onion, and a low viscosity that isn't oily which is nice. Mwah!“

“One of the best places in the area for authentic Latin American food—hands down better than the spot across the street (no food war intended!). I order the same dish every time because it’s consistently the best-tasting food I’ve had with excellent portion size for the price, in Westchester County and I'm from Rockland County. “The food here is fantastic. It’s your standard deli… but the staff clearly loves what they do. Sandwiches have good amounts of meat/cheese… and the bread is delicious. Breakfast sandwiches are the best in Northern Westchester. The eating area is really more of a take-out waiting room; a little dated on the decor. “so far I've tried them on few occasions ( due to being local deli) and have been unhappy each time . 90% .chance rolls for sandwiches are stale. single egg on bacon egg and cheese is cheap ,prices are way high and adding additional price for using a card is sad, you already over charged me for food and now I have to pay to pay for it wtf! but hey that's just my experience.“

“I am a big fan of A&S and have been a customer for the past 40 years. While I lived in Pleasantville for many of those years, I no longer live locally. I make an extra effort to pass them on my way down from Hartford, CT to NY. That said, I had an experience today that makes me wonder, so BEWARE. I went in to buy fresh mozzarella and picked up a few of their delicatessen items. a few got weighed on the scale that I could not see, the last one on a scale I could see. Before putting the plastic container on the scale, the scale read 0 instead of minus something to address the weight of the container. They were effectively charging me $18.99 a pound for the plastic container. I called them out on it and to their credit they deducted $2.00 from my bill. I found this disappointing and will make sure to watch the scale in the future.“

“We go to the location in Queensbury, New York for the gluten free sandwiches very often. We drive from 45 minutes away just to get the sandwiches so I think that says a lot! Nice staff, great store hours (open late). The area really needed a 24 hour store. It’s doing a lot for the community!“
