“I've passed this place many times I didn't know it was a restaurant I thought it was only a car wash place but we walk in there was only server. Brian was his name, we had a too good to go order and they delivered it fast and we also got some fried pickles, Both were very tasty. If you're around I'd give this place a shot it's got heart and they had flyers to scan to leave a review so it seems they could use a bit more business. Also their prices are fair.“

“One of the best menus in town . Everything looked great. Nothing was boring on the menu. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and I enjoyed the food was nicely cooked and seasoned. “We had breakfast there the morning of 5/30/26 (we were attending a wedding). There was an older gentleman with an Irish accent who was very sweet & funny. I was recently diagnosed with Celiac's disease, so the staff made sure I was able to get something without getting sick. He said the chef wasn't sure about the mozzarella for my dish, but me & our server were quite sure it was safe. I was just happy to find something that was vegetarian & gluten free! He even came over & took my pulse LOL! Excellent food & staff!“

“My friends and I had a lovely afternoon at The Rockaway Hotel Pool house. We were greeted by a warm and friendly hostess, Isabella, who made us feel so welcomed. Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. Our waiter, Andrew, was polite and helpful . I highly recommend coming to The Rockaway Hotel because their staff is highly professional and attentive.“

“The best smash burger in NYC I’ve had thus far. Please try the spicy burger, it’s not intense. The sauce is phenomenal and Feruk gave us a French Fry sample prior to ordering.

“West end has been one of our favorite places to dine for over 30 years. They have kept up the wonderful food and service even though Management has changed. The food was always outstanding and it hasn't changed. The service was always spot on and continues to be warm and caring. The four of had their prix fixed dinner and it was outstanding. The portions were the same size as the ala carte menu and the food was spot on. hadn't been there in a while because of some health issues but we will be regulars again as will our friends.“

“I had an amazing experience at Golden K Burgers. Golden K Burgers must be one of the best burger places I have eaten at. Firstly, Golden K Burger has such a good party vibe! It is a great place for not just burgers, but also partying!!! The burgers were amazing. We asked for recommendations from the staff, and she suggested The Classic American, The A1, The Farmhouse, and The Bulogoi Burger. Somehow, we ordered all 4, and unfortunately, I never tasted The Classic American. I could say otherwise for the rest of the burgers. The A1 Burger was an amazing burger, the mushroom flavor stood out, and it had a great saucy flavor. The meat was very juicy and soft. The Bulgogi Burger is not as special, it just tastes like marinated beef, and nothing else. The Bulgogi Burger is not worth the money. The Farmhouse was amazing! It had a recognizable smokey flavor, with the crunchy onion, it became a juicy, smokey, crunchy burger! It was my favorite one, and you HAVE to try it! The french fries were very crunchy and delicious, and the meat to bun ratio was perfect! Even though the whole place was busy, the waiters were super kind and helpful. The whole place was clean, and their sofas felt amazing. Their meals come out faster than expected, and they even have an outdoor area for parties, even though you have to reserve it. Speaking of reserving, you HAVE to reserve a seat, online or by calling. We were very lucky, the place was not as packed and I got a seat in less than 10 minutes, but other times, I cannot say the same. Reserving does not take a lot of time, and can save you a lot of time inside the restaurant since it is packed!!! The inside of the restaurant also feels very cramped due to the small space and the number of customers, so it might get uncomfortable. The bottles are also… weird. For some reason, when we got 2 soda drinks from the glass bottles, there was residue on the rim of the bottle, even though it was freshly opened, I suggest drinking from straws! Overall, I love this place, it really deserves a high score on Google Maps. I highly recommend it as one of THE BEST burger places in New York!“

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. Since the taste test was so aggressive we may need to supplement what’s left with a few cheese omelets 🤣. We enjoyed it so much there was much talk about it becoming the new family tradition. “I was really disappointed with my experience here. The food looked promising, but the taste didn’t match the presentation at all. The food is highly overpriced, and doesn’t taste fresh. The appetizer quality was way better than the entrees.

I ordered the fish and chips for my entree, it only came with three small pieces. The fish was dry as hell and lacked any real flavor or seasoning. For the price, I expected much better quality. I left this restaurant still hungry and disappointed. Unfortunately, this is not a place I’d return to or recommend.“

“Always a pleasure coming to Rove! Tonite was an exceptional experience. I wish i got the bartenders name. Wednesday 4/24/24 between 7-9pm. Nice nails and curly hair. She was funny pleasant and took care of us. Long story short, after great apps and drinks, paid the bill and left…I dropped a $50 out of my pocket after I paid and left and was only 2 store fronts down and she came after me telling me you dropped a bill and gave it back. You don’t see this honestly often anymore. Kudos to her and Rove deserves her as an employee.“

“I've dined here at least 20 times and have always had a great experience. Our server Deneen was outstanding. So sweet and professional and took great care of us during our dinner. She should be commended. Two of us got the chicken breast dinner and the other two got the pork chop. Everything was delicious as usual. Our wine was great as were the little desserts they always serve. Seasons 52 has become a favorite which is why we always come back!“
