“The store is clean. Pleasent atmosphere. This establishment ONLY takes cash. There's an ATM on promises. Usually, cash only translates to great prices. That's not the case at this deli. Several staff members where I work feel items are overpriced, I agree. Most say they'll just go up to Merrick Rd. instead. Apparently, the local residents don't mind the pricing there. Parking is limited on the street.“

“I love this place! The first time I went, they made me fresh chicken cutlets! The food is fresh and made with love! The staff, including Romero and Yvette, is friendly, and professional and they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The huge steak quesadilla with hand-cut fries was excellent! Chicken noodle soup, and all the salads are fresh and delicious. I will definitely return.“

“My co workers and I used to order from this deli 4-5 times a week. They would constantly send the wrong order. Every time we called to inform them, the person answering the phone would be nasty, insisting we were lying. We’ve spent hundreds there. We stopped ordering from them up until yesterday. We decided to give them another shot. The delivery driver who dropped our order off, once again brought us the wrong order. We contacted them immediately. He than came back to bring us the right order and started harassing everyone. Yelling in front of people, demanding we give him more money ontop of what our order was. Demanded a tip. He was scaring everyone around him. He wouldn’t leave. We then handed him extra money so he would finally leave and he still refused.“

“This hibachi blows a certain local chain out of the water. Amazing food, served by really nice people, out of the most humble kitchen.I had a generous portion of the steak and shrimp combo. My only complaint is that I had Haitian Chicken over Rice, but the rice tasted unwashed ruining the dish (the chicken was still good). Other than that, I loved every other option. “Whenever I'm in Merrick, which is usually two or three times a month, I always stop at Bagelman of Merrick. They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. I've come to know the owner, Boris, and his staff, and they are always most helpful. Looking forward to my next trip to Merrick.“

“The hot food here (Latin Food) is made fresh daily and it's pretty. You get a decent portion for 1 for $5. Breakfast sandwiches starting at $3 so you can't go wrong and the cold cut hero's are enormous to some really good brewed coffee. Not much on the negative to say except that it would be nice if they carried a larger variety of drink but from canned goods to cleaning supplies to house hold items and an ATM this deli has a lot to offer at good prices.“

“Melville Deli catered a breakfast at our elementary school for 150 people. Simaan was extremely helpful during the ordering process. The food arrived hot and exactly on time. The presentation was beautiful and everything was delicious. Melville Deli is the talk of the school now! We will definitely be ordering food again!“

“Hicks Deli is a top tier deli and never disappointed me since this place opened ive been advocating all family and friends to try it out. My usual order is the #4 with a hash brown on top with salt pepper and hot sauce. Coffee is always hot and the line moves quickly if busy. Lots of drink choices and plenty of other typical deli items available. I usually spend under 20$ here“

“Took the pup to a dog run in Eisenhower Park and stopped here for a sandwich. I missed them last time when I was coming back from jones beach by a few minutes since they close early at 4pm. Lady working suggested chicken cutlets since they just came out and they were crispy and delicious. “I'm 1/8th Polish on my mother's side and I went to Poland 24 years ago and Polish food is one of my favorites. Having Euro Deli so close to my house is a real treat. They have the best and freshest kielbasa around. If you've never going to a Polish deli you might be overwhelmed by the variety of kielbasa that they have but ask them and they'll gladly tell you the differences in flavor. If you've only had processed store bought kielbasa like Hillshire Farms and never had it from a Polish deli you don't know what you're missing. Another favorite of mine is pasztetowa (pronounced Pash-te-tova). It's Polish liverwurst. If you like liverwurst you'll be blown away by how much better this is than the stuff you get at the supermarket. I buy the one that's in a gold wrap, it comes in a log about as long as a hot dog but as think as a can of soda and you cut the slices as think as you want. Other great food here is the stuffed cabbage, and Bigos (hunters stew) which is made with fermented cabbage and chunks of pork in a sauce that's kinda like a gravy it's hard to describe but it's DELICIOUS. There are several Polish delis in the area but Euro Deli is my favorite by far.“

“Deli Boy makes great sandwiches. Very fresh and tasty ingredients. I only recently moved to the area so I have been to a few delis in the freeport Baldwin area. I would say that all my orders have been over the phone for pick up. Because of COVID I wont open rh e sandwhich but all of my sandwiches I have asked for cheese but everytime I get home .....there is none. Its my faukt though I know netter to watch my food being prepared and making sure all the ingredients are there. AI havent really fully enjoyed the sandwich becuae its missing a key ingredient.
