Good was good, staff is friendly.
Shockingly great management + service, and the chicken's good too
Chester's has been a go-to of mine since it opened. The chicken is great, crispy, and flavorful. The staff has also been consistently nice to me, even offering me samples of things I haven't tried yet. One of my favorite places to stop on my lunch break!
Chester’s Chicken is a new and convenient restaurant located inside a store, offering a variety of chicken dishes and sides. Customers praise the friendly staff and the fresh, hot food prepared quickly. The menu features popular items like chicken tenders, chicken breast, chicken sandwich, and BBQ chicken bites. The chicken is often described as crispy, juicy, and flavorful, with some customers highlighting the delicious honey biscuit and the fried apple pie that reminded them of McDonald's.
Many reviewers appreciate the generous portions, especially the 8 piece dinner meal that comes with biscuits and two sides, and the 2 piece white combo. Although some mention limited food choices and small chicken wings, the tenders and chicken breasts are generally enjoyed for their size and taste. Sides like fries and potato wedges vary in quality; some wedges are thick and not fully cooked, and the presentation is sometimes lacking. Nonetheless, the food is often described as good value for the price, with decent portion sizes.
The restaurant's location within a convenience store makes it easy to shop while waiting, adding to its appeal. Despite some minor glitches and inconsistent side options, customers find Chester’s Chicken to be a tasty and convenient spot worth returning to. Overall, it is appreciated for its friendly service, flavorful chicken, and the nostalgic touch of certain items like the fried apple pie.
