I told her nothing was what I ordered and her response was basically shrugged her shoulders and didn’t care because she didn’t even make sure what I asked for was correct in the bag. “Today is my second time ordering food from Bitterman BBQ on the corner of Rt 109 and Straight path in the town of west Babylon . The food was very good not to forget the big generous portion. Mr Bitterman is friendly and always has the biggest smile in his face. Please go there to get the tastiest BBQ in town. I love the garlic mashed potatoes that came with the food as a side dish, you get 2 free sides with your food.B.T“

“If you want a place to go eat with dirty hands this is the one! Bathroom is always closed but there’s an alley not too far away. You can tell management really cares about the customer experience when they keep the bathroom closed from customers. And they even have tables, that alone would be a health department violation(tables without a working bathroom) but who has time to call them anyway? I think the stuff here is delicious but it could also be the flavor from the last customer on the door handle so who knows?“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“Youngs Farm is an absolute delight—a charming, historic spot near Oyster Bay that’s perfect for a weekend visit. Their farm shop is filled with delicious baked goods (don’t miss the cranberry scone—truly the best I’ve ever had), along with pies, cookies, jams, sauces, and fresh local produce.

Beyond the food, they also carry beautiful ceramic cookware, table runners, tablecloths, and all sorts of thoughtful kitchen and home knick-knacks—all at very reasonable prices. It’s such a lovely place to bring kids: you can stroll through the sunflower field or enjoy a laid-back picnic with the goodies you just picked up.

It can get a bit crowded, especially on weekends, but the charm and quality more than make up for it. A must-visit if you’re in the area!“

“Have ordered many times from Ole’s. The food is delicious and service friendly and warm. Today, decided to eat in so we could try the nachos crispy and warm in the store. They were amazing!!! The other items were also great, my kids loved all of it. At the end, we had a chance to meet one of the owners, Manny. Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. Customer next to me raved about the banana pudfing so I added that too. All 5 star!!! Very happy I took the chance on a place in a gas station!!“

“I went to Beach BBQ and satisfied would be an understatement. Upon arrival I was greeted by staff at hat engaged as if we were family or old friends. I reviewed the menu and settled on the Dragon Glazed Salmon Mac and cheese and candied yams. The meal and service was superb. I highly recommend this spot ! Don’t walk Run to this restaurant!!“

“We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. “This is one of my favorite breweries in the area, maybe even on all of Long Island, and we spend a lot of time at breweries!
I love the little outdoor area. There are umbrellaed picnic tables, adirondack chairs, and simple cocktail tables with chairs.
The beer is really good. There is always a variety from IPAs to belgiums and fruities. I believe 8 choices. Now I also see cocktails on their menu. Though as much as I am a vodka martini fan, if I can have a good beer, I always opt for the beer. But, I just overheard the guy from Sand City Brewery commenting to Melissa the bar tender, that she makes the best cocktails. So you can't not have a good night here!
My fav this summer is the Summer Seance. Its a hazy double IPA that is not too sweet, not too hoppy, and not heavy. I have never been disappointed by any of their beers.
Lindenhurst train station is walking distance. And we order food from down the road and eat at the picnic tables. Very nice evening!“

“I just had my daughter’s baptism at Fabio’s. From the food to the service everything was amazing! My guests were raving about the food. We did family style and it was more than enough food. We even had leftovers to take home! Fabio went above and beyond helping us set up the decorations the night before my party. We never felt rushed (we were there til 1am). He wants his guests to have a great experience and we did! Thanks to Fabio, Rose, Marty and the entire staff for a great party!“
