“I came across this deli when I was getting my hair cut next door. What drew my attention was the kimbap and the tteokbokki they make. The nice lady makes them fresh every day. I have gotten tteokbokki plenty of times before in restaurants but this one tasted so flavorful and the tteok was the perfect consistency! I got the kids size spirulina bowl and oh my gosh WOW. It was SO flavorful. The fruit was really delicious & there was no fishy flavor that spirulina sometimes has! They never mistaken my impossible burger for a real burger, which has happened to me many times with other burger places.Just one complaint...too much salt!! I like when granola has something else mixed into it such as nuts, seeds or dried fruit. All the staff seemed to be enjoying their job and I liked the atmosphere. There are just 4 bar seats and that's it. 2. Beverage options limited. Coke, sprite, water. 3. The service is amazingly friendly and personable. I didn't get the woman's name behind the counter but I'd go back there just to hang out with her. And it wasn't just me, she was that way with every customer including a 4 year old. You don't need to travel to come here but it's a good stop if you are nearby. Just 2 blocks off the Locust Valley train station.“

The entire experience was amazing.The owner is super accommodating, even letting me switch the date or the event last minute and change the number of people. They gave us ample space to set up food, desserts, and have more than enough seating for our guests.The bartender was awesome, friendly, and very helpful. He even came to sweep our area before our event started after we dropped some decorations on the floor.There was a live band that everyone enjoyed, from the younger guests to the older guests. But I decided to take the risk and bring him on a mini date because there's only so many visits this mommy can take to Chik-fil-A and it turned out great. He was on his good behavior and tried the mushroom risotto, which I told him was cheesy rice with my short rib and he has a cheese burger and fries. They did forget to put cheese on his burger which he was quick to point out but that was a quick fix, the staff was quick to melt a slice of cheese on his burger and brought it back out quick. My only semi-compliant was a side was small sweet potato smash was $12 which was the same cost of his burger and fries. Otherwise, everything was great, staff was attentive and we had a fun time. “The restaurant is in a low traffic area and seems to do decent with takeout. I haven't seen anyone sit down yet each time I went. Restaurant looks pretty clean and full of space. The folk working here are pretty nice. Portion sizes are either lunch or dinner size for your platters. Even the lunch size is a good size portion enough for one person. The dinner size is enough for two people. When we ordered the lunch size for gyro, we had a choice of either a salad or a soup for the first side which is separate from the gyro and there is a second side that goes along with the gyro, so you can pick one of the following fries, rice, lemon potatoes or grilled vegetables. The container is filled about 80% full with grilled pita. When we ordered the dinner size for gyro, its the same as lunch but you can pick two of the sides that go along the gyro. This is effectively filling your container all the way to the top at 100% filled with grilled pita. Recently it appears they increased this to up to three sides, but I imagine they will just reduce the portion size of each side if you pick three but would still fill the container full. The Greek salad is good and the soups we tried were also good. The gyros and chicken souvlaki were on point.“
