“This place is amazing! The food was delicious. I had the chicken souvlaki wrap, ate 1/2 for my lunch and the second 1/2 for dinner. The next day I wished I had saved the second half. My friend had a burger and it was huge. She really enjoyed it. Also, the fries were fine perfectly. Crispy and served hot.
I've already recommended The Iron Kettle to anyone I talk to.

“Maybe we were overhyped. Everything I heard and read said this place was legendary. But the menu was limited: beef on Weck and buffalo wings... or if you want a pizza, you can get the same options but on a crust with cheese. Otherwise, fairly standard sports bar apps.
The inside seemed too dark for a lunch, and the 'outside' area with lots of snow was crowded. Service was polite, but slow for such a small menu. We're told the place always gets a wait by noon and yet it takes 25 minutes to get your food even with so few options for entrees seems uncalculated and unnecessarily slow.
Food was good, but I'd say I've had equal quality wings and sauce at a bit fairer price. And the beef on weck seemed on par with Charlie the butcher, but comes with a handful of chips, not fries, at $15 for just the sandwich? I couldn't go 5 stars. Cost of business, I suppose

“We were in food heaven. I brought my father and brother here for my dad's early birthday dinner. They are from out of town. We had originally picked a different spot, but the wait was long, so we wound up here, and I'm sooooo happy about it. We had a little bit of everything. Our server was so accommodating with how she brought out our mass amounts of food. The cleanest fried food I've ever had. Fresh, full seafood. More seafood than batter. Very flavorful. I picked up a rib and it fell right off the bone. Best crab cake ive had since Maryland. Mostly meat, not filler. We are all happily eating lots of left overs. This is one of my new fav spots when I have visitors. The lake view and breeze as you walk out makes it even more wonderful. Five star food, five star service“

“I had the best burger of my LIFE at 189, thanks to Jay! The bourbon onion burger he crafted for me was truly a masterpiece. Even the fries were memorable: crisp and tasty. Their servers are extremely professional and courteous without being stiff--a rare combination indeed.
I'm not a whiskey drinker, but their beer selection is very adequate. This is the place to eat in East Aurora.“

Also the February drink specials were so cute and the Lovers Lane mule was delicious. Hayley is amazing as always and Sammi, who was training while serving, was very attentive and brought everything out at the perfect time and temperature. “My wife and I went tonight to have a nice dinner. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. My wife had the two way French onion soup. Both were excellent, we even got an extra to take home to my son and he loved it as well. I had never had a roasted salad before and am definitely glad I tried it. The roasting adds a nice twist to it. Both of our entrees were also extremely well made and delicious. We also very much enjoyed the atmosphere. Overall a really great dining experience. We even had a slight mishap that was very flukey. The owner handled it immediately and went above and beyond in doing so. If you’re looking for a nice sit down restaurant, we would highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.“
