“Having lived in NYC, I'll eat cheap pizza from some nameless joint with questionable sanitary practices without hesitation, yet somewhere along the line, I somehow developed a bias against gas station/convenience store takeout. Crosby's has definitely helped me change my negative and admittedly unfair disposition toward the latter. Is their takeout the best food on the planet? No, and it's not meant to be. But it's pretty darn tasty, and it's also reasonably priced. Boston, NY is a small, semi-rural town with a population of roughly 8,000. When it comes to ordering takeout, one's options are generally limited to two local pizzerias, Crosby's, or driving to another town. There's also a Tim Hortons and a 7-11. During the summer, there's George's. Usually, my first choice is to make the 15-minute drive elsewhere. Once in a great while, I'll order from a local pizzeria, but only when I want something other than pizza, because I'm not crazy for the pizza from either of the two places in town (especially price-wise). Crosby's pizza was recommended to me by several locals since I moved back to Boston in early 2018, but I didn't try it until June of this year. One night, I craved pizza but didn't want to drive far, cook, or overspend. Crosby's has a Tuesday and Thursday deal - two large one-topping pizzas for $15.99 until midnight. My dad had also heard that their pizza is good, so we took advantage of the deal. We ordered one pepperoni pizza and another with banana peppers and onions. Even with the extra toppings, the price was very reasonable. The food took longer than what I would consider a "normal" amount of time to be made, but I'm guessing they're busy on nights when they run this special. Our order wasn't ready when I arrived, so I waited. I didn't have anything pressing going on, so it wasn't a big deal. While there, I perused the booze section. I don't drink beer, so I can't comment on those prices, but I like fruity, "girly" beverages. To my delight, Crosby's carries mixed-flavor 8-packs of Mike's Harder (8% alcohol) for only $13.99, which is the best deal I've found in town (7-11 sells two standard-sized cans for $3.79, which isn't bad, and Tops carries one flavor in large cans for some ungodly amount I'm unwilling to pay). Like with my takeout, I typically drive out of town to stock up on adult beverages, but the inventory at Crosby's has helped make those trips less frequent. For what we paid, my dad and I enjoyed the food and would order it again in the future. I was satisfied enough with the pizza to say I'm also willing to try other items from the Crosby's menu if the occasion ever calls for it. The pizza tasted surprisingly fresh compared to what I expected. I'll say this much: in ratio of quality to price, I feel my money is better spent at Crosby's than at either pizzeria in town. The employees at my local Crosby's provide exceptional service. They're pleasant and polite. Although I only ordered pizza once, I've gone into Crosby's several times to buy more Mike's Harder, and the people who work there are consistently nice!“

“We order from here all the time. I grew up on this place, since they opened and still love their food to this day! I do miss a couple of items they don't offer anymore, one is a small garden salad Joel used to offer on the menu. It was so fresh and good and had just the right ingredients. But we regularly order a variety of other items and they are all great! Chicken Finger Tacos, Subs, Antipasto, Fried Mushrooms and Onion Rings. Absolutely LOVE their Blue Cheese and hope they never change the brand they use! And, as insignificant as it may seem, I am impressed by the fact that they offer CUT carrots with their wings as opposed to "baby" carrots that many restaurants use. I don't eat those or buy them for my family and anyone that has done some research on their production and "cleaning" process will know why. Their carrots are freshly cut and full of flavor, which makes them a fantastic compliment to wings ;) This family-run business is one of our favorite local go-to places and we hope they are around for a very long time!“

“Such a gem. Luxurious baked goods, well crafted coffee drinks, and gracious staff. Only issue is that everything behind the counter looks so amazing, it is difficult to select just one or two items. Can't recommend this place enough. Top marks all around.“

“This is a small neighborhood bistro and brewery with good food. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. There is a well rounded selection of beer from IPAs to sours and seasonal beers. The tortilla chips , sandwich rolls, and pizza are all made in houseThere's a free public parking lot across the street. We enjoyed the hand cut chicken fingers in our stinger sandwich.“

“We ordered a Royal sub and a Rueben. Our first time there, and I guess I didn't realize that I was getting a sausage patty on a sub roll. It was good, but I'm not one to order a lot of spicy food. I could only eat half, of the half I ordered. I would get this again for sure. The Rueben was ok, as per my husband. Different in that typically the meat is sliced thin and this was chipped, so it wouldn't stay in the sandwich.Cute place, I would go again if I am in the area.Parking: On street and there is a parking lot in the rear.“

“I recently dined at Brunner's and ordered their steak sub and mozzarella sticks. Overall, I was quite pleased with the experience. The steak sub was delicious, with tender meat and flavorful toppings that left me satisfied. The mozzarella sticks were also a hit; they were perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, just the way I like them. However, I did find the prices to be a bit on the higher side. While the quality of the food justified the cost to some extent, it might not be the most budget-friendly option for those looking for an economical meal.Overall, Brunner's offers tasty food, particularly the steak sub and mozzarella sticks, but be prepared to spend a little more for the quality you receive.“

“Holy mother of pearl. These guys are so buttoned up and service oriented. We ordered a big order of food - 3 sheet pizzas, 100 wings and everything was spot on. At the last minute I asked to move the delivery up and they did it. The stuffed pepper pizza is incredible. Excellent quality and service!“

“Great place good food, had to leave because of an out of control patron. He was very loud and opinionated, 5 people left in a matter of minutes. We weren’t sure if he was intoxicated or just needed attention (mark). We will be back soon, hopefully he won’t be there or we won’t stay.“

“I call all the time and the one time they forgot to put something with my order the driver came back out to my house to bring it to me. It really wasn't a big deal just a little side of bannan peppers. But he brought them to me. This is why I order from them they take care of their regulars. Thank you. I love ur food. Ur my number one place to order from.“
“The only gas and convenience store in the area. BUT the people are really great. The prices are high, but you're getting handmade deli food that is quite good. They also have snacks, drinks, and gas. No indoor restroom (only a porto potty, just as a heads up).“

“Took a cruise out from So. Buffalo to get a couple of subs. It was worth the ride. It's the only place we know of that melts the cheese, and that's makes the sub. Also, the price doesn't break the bank. We will definitely be back.Parking: You can eat in, or they have tables outside when the weather is nice out. Handicap parking is available.“

“Spot Coffee is one of my favorite places to go! I can't get enough of a drink so simple, their house, coffee! They also have delicious breakfast options. My favorite is the breakfast wrap. The atmosphere is quaint, I like being able to go upstairs and get work done while enjoying a cup of coffee. And when it's nice out, sitting outside on the patio is beautiful! I highly recommend trying to buy coffee“
