“Ordered for the first time last weekend, did a fair amount of sampling of the menu. Spring rolls, crab rangoon, fried dumplings, sweet & sour chicken, beef lo mein, and both general tso's and sesame chicken in the combo meals. Everything was hot and fresh at pickup, all as expected. The only item that was not to our typical taste were the fried dumplings. Lots of filling and tasty, but the dumpling itself was much thicker than most any dumpling we've ever had making it a little chewier than we prefer.“

“The staff was very nice and welcoming. The food was great. We started off with ginger tea as it was a very cold night with high winds (Imagine that in CNY). Then we enjoyed the Fresh Summer Rolls. We had two orders, but they are so big that we both only ate half (and took the remainder home) so you could easily be satiated with one order for two people. For our entrees we had Pad See Eiw with Beef and Pad Prig King with Chicken. Both dishes were very good and as far as the portions, we took home approximately half of both. We would both highly recommend this little gem. (Oh, and the bathrooms were very clean.)“

The service was friendly, prices were reasonable, and most importantly, every single thing we ordered was even better than we anticipated. Even our hard-to-please kids loved their meals and even actually asked to try some of ours. We will definitely be back when back in the area to try some of the other items (though it will be hard to pass up the jambalaya mac & cheese, southwestern egg rolls and loaded salts, knowing how good they are)!“

“Cicero Wegmans I love you I really do but a member of your produce department really isn’t representing your brand well. On 2/4/23 I accidentally dropped one bunch of cilantro on the floor. It was a soggy snowy day and the cilantro landed in a muddy puddle. I picked it up and brought it to the nearest worker. Our conversation went like this…. Me: Hello I’m so sorry I dropped this cilantro on the floor. Her: Yea? Me: What would you like me to do with it? Her: You can put it back on the shelf. Me: Ummm It was on the soggy floor. Her: Yup! That’s why we tell you to wash your produce. She then takes the cilantro and puts it back!!!! 🤢🤷🏻‍♀️ After she walked away, I grabbed the floor cilantro (I can’t have someone buy that) and brought it to a manager at customer service. The manager fully agreed with me that it was disgusting to put it back. Not sure if that lady was having a bad day or if this is company policy but warning to all my Cicero shoppers……..wash that produce!!!“

“I got married on 9/13/2025 at 916 Riverside and it was one of the best wedding related decisions my husband and I made. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on site and it was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The ceremony was held outdoors on their patio, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how visually stunning it was. We primarily communicated with Jake, the owner, and Brooke, one of the head staff. They were both incredibly helpful and responded immediately whenever we reached out. Anytime I suggested something or asked if it was possible to do X, Y, or Z - Jake accepted with open arms and supported all of our ideas to make our big day personable and meaningful. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but doing so via Jake and Brooke made it as painless as possible, and that is something I am very grateful for. Staff paid attention to small details and ensured that everything got done in the way we envisioned and requested. At the end of our reception, Jake’s staff cleaned up quickly and packed all decorations and center pieces onto two designated tables, which made it that much easier for my husband and I to pick up and pack up everything the day after. Everything went smoothly from start to finish and there’s truly nothing I can critique. 916 Riverside will always be special to us, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat for any couples who are hunting for a venue. He even asked if we wanted the kids meals to come out early which was great! Not everyone thinks to ask that, so super appreciated! “Decent lunch at a reasonable price.

My wife and I came in for lunch and thought it was good. I had their soul and sandwich lunch meal which was a good value.

I opted for their French Onion soup and it was delicious. Super cheesy and the broth was excellent as well. Their chicken tenders were good and their house honey mustard was a nice dipping sauce.

Our server was attentive and helpful.

“We came in for the Sunday special and were lucky to have Sarah as our server. She was amazing. I have celiacs and she knew just what I could have and made sure my order was perfection. From the soup French Onion to my Turkey dinner! The food was amazing. I could not have the Sauerbraten but that is what my partner ordered. He thought the was amazing and was able to bring home a wonderful piece of raspberry pie. (which I could not eat.). But Sarah checked over all of the dessert options to try and find one for me. The food was amazing. Our service was stellar. And we told Sarah we would be back to see her again. Thank you so much for a lovely meal!“

“Yesterday, I stopped in to grab a sesame bagel with Pastrami and cheese, first time ever having it this way! After seeing so many other choices, I still stuck with my choice! My order was taken right away and both the cashier and the food preps were friendly and professional! My order came out fast and as soon as I sat in my truck, I broke into it😂! The whole bagel was delicious! I have been here several times in the past, when in town. Always a great bagel and service! A Great stop. Will be back to try another,!“

“The chicken pastini soup was served nice and hot, loaded with fresh veggies and chicken. Very good. The clams casino were perfectly prepared and so delicious, only problem was that we wanted more. Our entrees were excellent and accompanied with delicious crusty Italian bread. Will be back for more!“

“I ordered an antipasto salad I thought on their website but the order did not go through. I stopped in for pick up on a Monday evening, there were no other customers and no wait. I inquired about online order but staff was able to make antipasto and said it would only take a few minutes. It is an authentic antipasto and huge portion with everything you could think of going into an antipasto! Artichokes, meats, cheeses, veggie galore, including Giardinera! Total $16 and change a great price for the portion and amount of ingredients! This was my first order and I will definitely be returning! I prefer a more simple version but this was consumed and raved about. This was takeout but plenty of seating for dine in with a classic Italian pizzeria vibe.“
