Great staff, awesome music, excellent drinks, kool crowd, nice pool table, good food, got a outside lounge area in the back and generally a nice spot to chillax. Add in movie nights and party events and you got a nice spot In the heart of the SoBx.

Bar 47 is a cool bar with good vibes and good music, offering a nice atmosphere that is mellow and chill, with an old school, jazz New Orleans type of vibe. The bar has a backyard for smoking or fresh air, and an outdoor space to relax. Inside, there is a pool table. The drinks are great and strong, with options for top shelf or well drinks. The spinach artichoke dip is tasty, but the chips are not good and the bowl is too big. The Buffalo wings traditional are nothing but bodega wings, which is not a compliment. Servers and bartenders are described as humble, helpful, pleasant, and very nice. The whole crew is a vibe. The bathroom is very clean, though washing hands requires going outside. A downside is that parking is absolutely terrible. Specific meals mentioned include the old fashioned, chicken, Smash burger, and Titos and cranberry on the rocks. On Wednesdays, there are wings and beer for $15.
