“Walked by and saw a flyer in the window for Monday afternoon jazz. Wasn't sure it was open as it was so dark inside compared to the bright sunshine inside and found it was.
What a great little bar, friendly bar tender and an enjoyable set by a jazz duo.
I'd certainly pay another visit next time in in NY“

“This dive bar is simply the best. It is not a flashy, new concept type of bar. When I walked in, I had this bizarre, deja vu experience where it felt like home. It felt like I had already been there a thousand times before and everyone was an old friend. The drinks are cheap and they are served with love. Kinda wish I lived closer so I could visit all the time.“

“Great casual bar vibes, cheap prices and great food. What’s not to like? We got the frozen mojito, coke, pernil wrap with lemon pepper fries and Thai chili wings. The mojito was not great sadly. There were no Mint specks and I could not really taste the flavor either. I literally just tasted frozen and liquor. Like the flavor of an icee but very bland lol. I love mojitos so this was kind of sad. The coke was kind of sad too, the carbonation was weak. I like when my soda punches me in my chest with bubbles. The food was great! I really liked the wrap, fries and wings. I think the pernil was a bit dry unfortunately, I heard slow cooked and was expecting juicy like carnitas or al pastor or pulled pork. I’ve had juicier pernil before so maybe today was a bad batch. Good flavor but I can’t stand dry food. Lemon pepper fries were everything ! Perfect crunch and seasoning levels and internal fluffiness. The wings were so so good, crunchy, sweet, slight kick, and great with that squeeze of citrus. Absolutely loved it.
Definitely want to go back for the nachos, spice box, chicken sandwich and more. Definitely need to be wary of the bar but my service was great.“

“Cool aesthetics!! Loved the unique vibes. Came for a bottomless brunch and drinks were good. However , food was just ok but Would try again for an evening vibe. A great mention: Their captain crunch, churro dessert (photo attached) was soooo delicious!! worth the calories 😅🫶“

“If I can remember, I always come here every friday night. Which is karaoke night. So, my review will be based on that specific night only.
Been there few times on friday night. Very busy night, very long line of karaoke, but the DJ did a veryyy good job. He remembers people's faces, like literally remember who requested what. His great memory amazed me and not to mention there is no pause or break. So, eventho its a long line of karaoke, but you will eventually singing.
Bartenders are great, drinks okay. Prices normal for the area, drink sometimes good, sometimes meh.
But yea, so far its been pretty amazing experience.“

“Stopped into this bar on a whim and I had a great time! I sat alone at the bar and met some very cool people and the bartenders were super cool as well. They had a good DJ spinning vinyl and I felt safe and comfortable as a woman alone drinking here.“

Dog friendly bar need I say more? Yes. What is so important? The fact that no one said a word when Bailey joined me on cushioned bench in the primo booth. And we both appreciated the ample window picturing Amsterdam avenue business, like tv to her, she told me.
Bartender did his job cool and proper by leaving us alone to nurse my beer and our water. We will be back.“

“Great place for a quick bite after climbing.
It's your usual bar food, quite big portions. Free popcorn, and sometimes sour gummy.
Had the chicken cutlet burger. Slightly overcooked but still juicy and delicious.
The bartender is super friendly and helpful.“

“Great local Irish bar. I was staying a week at a nearby hotel and this place had the exact Irish bar feel I needed. I instantly felt like a regular they were glad to see, coming and going. Proper for an Irish place. Good pours on the beers. “Had a great time hanging at 101 for the 7 year anniversary. The skate videos were top tier, the bevvies were flowing, and the dj was killing it all night from a range of old school to current music playing all night until the party got too big and we all had to leave!“
“Definitely a fun bar to hang out in and the staff was very personable. The drinks were decently priced and there were plenty of places to sit and space out between groups. The only drawback is the overly loud music at some points which can make conversation difficult.“

“The chairs suck BUT the bartender WILSON does not! Very nice very polite and is very intuitive! He can predict when you need a refill! Like Spider-Man he flies to the end of the bar to get you a new cold drink!

“If you are looking for a dive bar with strong drinks this is the place. Sitting in Rivington this means something if you are a GAGA fan. 1 bartender you will not get speciality cocktails this a PBR and vodka soda place with no frills gritty place.“
“Some of the other reviews on this page make me smile. Opinions about this Mamaroneck institution are as strong and mixed as their cocktails, but as various bars open and close all around it, this place stays true to itself. It's a neighborhood dive bar of the sort that are ubiquitous in my native Wisconsin, but rare gems in the NYC metro. Craft cocktails and small batch IPAs will not be found here, but simple mixed drinks and domestic drafts are always on hand. Darts and a few other bar games are cheap or free, and the beautiful original window storefront opens up wide to let the warm air in on summer nights. I have had some great memories here and it always feels like a sip of home.“

“It's in my opinion one of the most famous Irish bars in the Bronx. Almost every great Irish performer has been to this pub more than once. Paddy Reilly, Bagatelle and Niall & The Durty Nelly's to name a few...?It's a family run business and the staff are very welcoming. The burgers are also the best in the city, I kid you not.“
