“We had dinner at this restaurant today. The interior of the hall is simple. A huge chandelier enlivens the interior. The servers are modest and polite, it was very comfortable to communicate with them, they answered all our questions and gave recommendations. We tried plov, Marakand spec.wrap, chicken and beef kebabs, home made compot and Uzbek flatbreads. The food was served 15 minutes after ordering, very quickly. The prices are average. The atmosphere is calm, pleasant music was playing, I recommend!“

“Stopped by Kebab House in Great Neck and tried the beef kofta—great portion size, nicely seasoned, and cooked to juicy perfection. The flavor really stood out. It came with salad, white sauce, and warm pita, which rounded out the meal nicely. Only downside was the rice, which I found too mushy and a bit bland for my taste. Overall, a solid spot for Middle Eastern flavors with well-prepared meats. Worth checking out if you're in the area.“

“Butter chicken, goat doori kebab is to die for. Roomali Roti - just had it after ages. No doubt NYC has an Indian restaurant which can compete with the likes of Dum Pukht in India.“

“First time trying Uyghur food… had no idea what to expect but the food was amazing. Tried the spicy beef salad, qorima lagman, and a big plate chicken. All were fantastic. Beef salad was super refreshing. Medium big plate chicken was humongous - super flavorful chicken and the meat was very tender. Potatoes soaked up a bunch of flavor. Qorima lagman was my favorite - perfect noodz texture, stir fried(?) well, and excellent taste. Got a samsa to go which was also tasty and came with nice side sauces. Nawat tea was also nice - refilling the tea is free since you’re given the leaves to steep. Btw staff is also super friendly. All in all loved it and will come back!“

“This was my first time at this location in greenpoint. I've been a fan of the WB location for years and years. The only thing I was sad about was the breakfast pizza was not on the brunch menu. Other than that everything as always was perfect. Great job!!“

“This little cart packs so much flavor into a silver tray of food! I am so glad a friend showed me this place.
The chicken is extremely juicy, with crispy edges. The rice has two different kinds, and the flavor profiles are aromatic and a little smokey. Typically a meal comes with two soups, salad, rice and your main. Which is a lot of food for what they charge.
I would suggest ordering in person if possible, saves you a lot of money. I do however order on their app often, it’s that good!
Again…. The amount of food you get for the amount you spend…. INSANE! I love this place“

“i was passing by the area and looking for a quick filling lunch, very pleasantly surprised by how yummy their chicken doner sandwich was. You MUSTT get their homemade bread, it’s so soft yet a little toasted on the outside. The cabbage and pickles were so refreshing, a nice balance to the savory chicken. It was also GIGANTIC. You will not leave hungry for sure. There is a modest seating area in there as well, in case you need to rest a little before continuing going wherever.“

“Located in front of Paris Baguette, the BBQ truck has some of the best skewers I've ever tried. They transport you to the heart of Xinjiang with its local flavors, grilled in front of you. My two favorites were the lamb and beef skewers, and the chicken skewers were also very delicious.“

“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. -------------------------------------------------“

“OUTSTANDING lamb skewers (see picture). This stall sits in a quiet corner of the New World Mall food court and it is totally worth a try, and for me, multiple return visits. The price, authenticity of food and stoicism of the proprietors is a remarkable combo that could make you swear you we’re back in Hotan or Kashgar enjoying the finest eats around.“
“This was my first flushing BBQ cart and I can definitely say I am now hooked and will be trying others. I had just left Izakaya Nana and Jue Wei cart's skewers are imo on par with those of expensive restaurants. The menu was STILL so extensive at near closing time (12:30 AM). $2 per skewer was so reasonably priced. The level of spice and smoky flavor was pretty much spot on to what you would get in China. If it's late at night, park on Prince St as there were nosy traffic cops snooping around 39th Ave.“

“I have visited Aden multiple times and have always enjoyed my experiences. Delicious Yemeni food, likely the best in Queens, whether sit down, take-out, or from their street grill, coupled with the friendly service will keep me and my family coming back. Take the poor reviews of this business and set them aside as merely bad judgment on the reviewer's. This is not a fast food restaurant! Expect to wait a little, but you will be satisfied.Their Steinway Halal cart outside offers half chicken and kabobs over rice. Delicious!“

“Came with my boyfriend whos been here multiple times and said it was delicious, and he wasn’t wrong. We got chicken, squid, chinese sausage, ricecake, shrimp, and beef skewers that were ALL amazing. HIGHLY recommend the spicy powder on any skewer you order. I have low tolerance for spice, but it was just a small kick for a couple seconds. I will be coming here way more often, I found my favorite food spot for late night snacks.“

“Don’t sleep on this place!Located on a small side street in rego park it can be easily missed without knowing about it. The decor is what my interior design friend described as resembling a turkish marketplace. This place offers some amazing authentic Kosher Bukharian cuisine. They have their own tandoor ( stone oven ) to make fresh bread Liposhka and Samsa.Menu offers everything you might want from lagman, shurpa, samsa, plov, 7 types of shashlik, manty and more! All delicious.I suggested they add a dessert option to extend the meal experience.“

“I was craving for skewers and wanted to dine in instead of getting it from the street carts. Was seated immediately by the friendly staff. They offer traditional skewers and stir fry items. It was not fully packed which was great, because I was hungry. They cook all the items for you and bring it straight ti your table. Flavor of the food was really great, super affordable and really authentic. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a late night snack. Definitely will be back!“

“This experience was particularly good, 80 points. In particular, cauliflower is too salty and beef tendon is extremely hard, but grilled gluten, squid tentacles, kelp knots, eggplant, rice cakes, and enoki mushrooms are extremely delicious.“

“We tried a variety of skewers at this local spot, including pork tenderloin, Sichuan pepper beef, chicken, rice cake, cilantro bean curd, and a potato “tower.” Overall, the flavors were quite enjoyable, particularly the rice cake, which was a delightful surprise in both taste and texture. However, the dishes were somewhat oily, and the meat didn’t seem to be the freshest.
(Update: and we find ourselves come back again and again)“

“I am a chicken girl and can completely without reservation recommend any and all chicken dishes and sandwiches on the menu. I have had them all over and over. Also the French fries and green salad. They are my go to usually twice a week.Believe the listed menu needs to be updated price wise but still the best deals in town. A HuGE plus you have the Richard Tucker (google him) Park right across the street for seating. Linda“
