I decided to come and have some corn beef and cabbage on St. Patrick’s day. You would think since it’s only offered twice in the whole year that they would make it good for $38 but this was definitely not the case. The corn beef was overcooked and dried like if it was from yesterday, cabbage had no seasoning or flavor, and the brussels sprouts were so hard and undercooked. They were too chewy to eat. I adore this place. I have ordered the margarita pizza with broccoli for delivery many times, and it's probably the best pizza I have found in the Bronx. Wood-fired, soft yet grilled crust, fresh mozzarella, really good tomato sauce, and generous with the toppings. Dining in is also a great experience -- it's warm and homey inside, and you feel like you have left the grind of daily life and are settling in for a festive, really good meal. Ok lobster bisque, ok espressos martini, pretty good apple martini and Italian egg drop soup. amazing seafood risotto, heart ravioli and burrata pasta. Incredible pizzas to share.
