“I like how it's a diner with counter and booths, the food is good, prices reasonable, always clean. I did take off a star because their personalities could be friendlier, no one says good morning or afternoon, hardly ANYONE smiles, there's no greeting you which would be nice to be acknowledged when you are there.“

“The food is good, portions are decent for the price. The service could be a little chaotic since they are so busy and you have to wait for the person that serves you to give you a ticket then you have to go pay some where else and then go back with the pay proof so you can get your food.“

“Fresh food, great prices, big portions.Empanadas anywhere in the BX are $2-$2.50. here they are $1. Everything here was priced more affordably compared to any of the other Dominican spots on 138th street and in the neighborhood. Big plates. Also, they cater to the blue collar crowd. Lunch food is ready by 9:30AM. Perfect lunch spot if you're a city worker, construction, etc.“

“The food was soooo good I told my whole office about it. Now we go here all the time and plan to order catering.
I’ve had the seafood soup with clams & pumpkin
I’ve had the ribs with black rice??
I’ve had the rotisserie chicken
I’ve had a smoothie here
ALL OF IT WAS WELL SEASONED BUT NOT SALTY.

“When I Entered This Place My First Impression Was Enough for me to know that they would give 100% so that I, as well as any client who arrives, would leave Formidably Satisfied. When it comes to businesses with this type of concept, I could say that this is the cleanest I have ever visited in my life, everything impeccable. The atmosphere is super pleasant, music at an appropriate volume for the place. No matter how difficult your day was, if you come here you will have an experience so good that you will leave the place happy. As for the food, ufff, The Best Quipes in NY are here, some delicious croquettes, and the Yaroa Delicious. It has a very extensive menu and a lot of variety to choose from. I come back soon and often.“

“Yesterday I placed an order for white rice, beans and baked chicken ❤️❤️it was not good it was great❤️❤️❤️I highly recommend it. Today I ordered the Mangu, salami and fried cheese. It is called the Spanish breakfast!! Can't wait to try it. The bad thing is that they have soooo many different gummies to eat that it is hard to choose lmao.“

“The food here was great❕️Authentic Puerto Rican🇵🇷 style Lechon with arroz con gandules. I like how the place is outside & inside, it felt like i was back on the island in PR.🇵🇷 It's in the cut, but it's a chill small place with good reggaeton music being played. I recommend. 🏙🔊🎶🏝🇵🇷 🐷🍗🥩🍛🍚🍴🥤🐸👍🏽“

“Dominican breakfast is good, this is the first place I had ice coffee with cinnamon! Haven’t had ice coffee with out it since, the steak sandwich is good also
(If you left a low rating your a weirdo, this is a neighborhood store that sells Dominican food, it’s not a 5 star restaurant) I always come when I’m in the area and I’m black not Dominican but still enjoy the food“

“The location is very convenient, but parking can be a problem. The place is pulsating with energy and aromatic smells from the other kitchen. The service is quick and robotic, the prices have gotten steep. While the chicken is tasty, it tends to be dry especially the breast of the chicken. The rice is tasty and the overall experience is good. I will go back.“

“I had an amazing experience at 3 way. The service was prompt and friendly, making us feel welcome right from the start. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with traditional Spanish décor that set the perfect mood. As for the food, the chicken was delightful, especially the patatas, and rice. The mangu was rich and flavorful. Overall, a great place for authentic Dominican cuisine.“

“Great food with a strong Latino atmosphere. The servers are friendly and professional. I recommend the pepper steak with white rice and beans. If there is something that's not on the menu, feel free to ask and they will try to accommodate it at the back.“
“I absolutely love this place!! Nancy goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable and that you're eating exactly what you want. The food here is like the kind that your mother cooks, it doesn't feel nothing like a restaurant and that's what keeps me coming here over and over again. Aside from how good the food tastes here, what differentiates "La Vecina" from the rest is the variety of dishes they have everyday and again how great it tastes.“

“Yala is such a kind and friendly person, plus her food is delicious. I called to specify that I wanted a dompling because the app did not give me the option to choose the dompling. She took the call and it was a pleasure to speak with such a kind, attentive and pleasant person. Thanks yala. 10/10“

“Always enjoy the food. For this, I used to travel to the heights. Because of the location, I had doubts about the meal. I went there after giving it a try one day when I was feeling lethargic due to traffic. There is always a lot of cheese in palitos de queso. The cachapa and patacon are also excellent.“

“I love the food here José the boss is great know him for years, Rosa is also great she is nice and kind great service. Atmosphere and service would’ve been a 5 but the girl with the mole on the right side of her upper lip and bottom left is rude. I don’t like her. Everyone else is great !“

“Food was delicious. Bacalao Guisado with Rice n Pink beans was excellent not salty and real bacalao not Pollock. My friend had a Palomillo steak wrap in a plantain which was succulent. The Alcapurrias though a little over fried had the taste of a kiosko in Puerto Rico. We topped it off with 2 Medalla beers. Overall the food is authentic. Our server Amar was very attentive, and courteous. Will come again with more friends so they can see the difference between Caridad franchises, and an authentic Criollo restaurant“
