Such a great crowd and vibe! The staff was awesome and so was the food! I especially liked the beef and chicken empanadas. Look forward to catching CatNip there again soon!“

“Cool place, indoor and outdoor seating. The service was excellent. The food is very good. The shrimp banh mi was bursting with flavor, I loved all the pickled vegetables. The short rib grilled cheese was more of a short rib sandwich than a grilled cheese but it was delicious. The apples were a nice touch and needed to break up the richness. The fries were well cooked.“

“An absolute gem in the neighborhood. There's a good food menu with great variety and an even better drinks menu. I highly recommend getting the pina colada as it comes with a _fantastic_ little speech (iykyk) warning you about having more than one. The staff are all so incredibly friendly and attentive. You never wait long for a drink or a check - in! They've also got a lively calendar with karaoke nights, open mic nights and watch-parties. Highly recommend :)“

“Great bar to watch sports! It’s a standard dive bar. Prices are fine for Brooklyn. Came with friends for the Ohio State championship game. They had a lot of standard bar food. Their waffle fries were good, I’d skip the mozzarella sticks next time. Got some Jello shots at the end :)

the tater tots were crispy and fresh, but the chicken tenders were... the chicken itself was flavorful and juicy (maybe a little too heavy with the pepper) but the breading was SO weird. It was like smooth and flaky, instead of crispy. at least we knew that they were made in-house because never in my life have i seen chicken tenders like that anywhere else. i would go back and try a different menu item though, just not chicken based.“

“This is a nice little hole in the wall kind of bar. I was craving a burger, so I stopped here for a quick bite and drink. Trust me, the bacon cheeseburger did not disappoint and the fries that come with the burger are the bomb.

I don't understand some of the negative reviews about the service because I thought the service here was really good. The bartender was friendly and attentive and my food came out fast in spite of the place being busy.

Even though the place is small and a tad dark, they have several electronic games along with a dart board to keep the patrons occupied. They have a good sized menu with reasonable pricing and the establishment is clean.

Since I live in the area, I will be sure to stop in again in the near future.“

“My favorite local spot! They don't make them like this anymore! The bartenders are attentive and friendly, the drinks are cheap, and they have a pool table and dart board. Love that I can play whatever music I want with the internet jukebox.

“Montero's is a fun bar which is wild because it hosts karaoke 2 or 3 times a week. I love the vibe here, but when it gets crowded unfortunately it's hard to get a drink because how packed the bar gets. Really great time tho and fun vibes.“

And one of the regulars here, Cesar, was one of the kindest souls I’ve encountered. The entire staff is so welcoming - also had the greatest hair. Truly felt like family here. “This beer and wine tavern is a lovely place to grab a drink and chat with friends, especially if Eve is tending bar. They have a good selection of drafts to make up for the lack of hard liquor so 🍺🍺🍺🍺 out of 5 for variety. I did have a burger there as well and while there was nothing inherently wrong with it, it was not well seasoned, had no crust and was not particularly large. So I give it 🍔 🍔🍔 out of 5. Same for the accompanying potato wedges. I will see everyone we spoke to was friendly and chill so I would give a 5/5 for staff and service.“
