“I came here a couple Sundays ago on a first date. We were seated right away and got our drinks. The food was really yummy. It was busyish but not super crowded or overly loud. About halfway through our meal there was a drag show beginning in the back, but we didn't end up checking it out (though we will next time!) The prices were reasonable and it was fun and yummy. “My family and I have been going to this spot for a few years now and we really like it there. Food is 10/10 and the service is on point. They do keep the place clean as well. They have in door as well as outdoor dining and a bar. Highly recommended if you're on the boardwalk and looking for a bite to eat.“

“Definitely a fan of this bar. I've been the last three times I've been out to bk and it's always a good time. Cocktails are good and the sloop brewing hazy is delicious. “My favourite bar in Brooklyn. Celene is a warm and gracious host who makes everyone feel welcome. It’s clear that this bar is a pillar of the neighborhood, as I had many great interactions with locals and regulars who keep returning for the incredible cocktails, delicious food and almost nightly special events. There is a real sense of community and I know if I lived anywhere nearby this would be my local spot after work. Highly recommend attending one of the live music events or Karaoke!“

Freddy's bar and I have to say I tried their Philly cheesesteak quesadilla and tots it was amazing chef Mo really knows what he's doing in the kitchen. I just had one hiccup with a bartender I didn't catch her name but shes an older lady and has red hair, I'm not sure if she did it on purpose or not but every time I tried to order a drink it's like she looked right past me. After she left the bartender after her was attentive and nice I think his name is Lee he was pretty cool. Burlesque was fun. They also have this secret menu going on I'm definitely going to try it next time I just won't go as early.“

“I used to come here for their chicken wings which are great, but recently this place has invested in a smoker and is serving authentic bbq pulled pork, brisket, ribs and chicken thighs every Tuesday and Sunday.

I ordered half a rack of their sweet & spicy ribs with complimentary two sides (mac & cheese & corn on the cob) & complimentary cornbread

My total was about $23. The ribs were meaty & fall of the bone tender with a great sticky sweet & spicy molasses style bbq sauce evenly distributed on top

The ribs were so infused with smokiness that I later walked around my apartment wondering if someone was having a bonfire nearby, you can tell these are slow cooked to perfection.

The cornbread was my next favorite thing about this meal. It seems authentically homemade with corn kernels throughout
& the mac & cheese & the corn balanced everything out with a nice creamy cheesy sweetness.

Overall excellent BBQ, you can feed two people from one order, I would just suggest ordering an extra side dish as the sides seem to be intended for a single person.

“Great bar to watch sports! It’s a standard dive bar. Prices are fine for Brooklyn. Came with friends for the Ohio State championship game. They had a lot of standard bar food. Their waffle fries were good, I’d skip the mozzarella sticks next time. Got some Jello shots at the end :)

“This beer and wine tavern is a lovely place to grab a drink and chat with friends, especially if Eve is tending bar. They have a good selection of drafts to make up for the lack of hard liquor so 🍺🍺🍺🍺 out of 5 for variety. I did have a burger there as well and while there was nothing inherently wrong with it, it was not well seasoned, had no crust and was not particularly large. So I give it 🍔 🍔🍔 out of 5. Same for the accompanying potato wedges. I will see everyone we spoke to was friendly and chill so I would give a 5/5 for staff and service.“

“On our recent trip to NYC/Brooklyn, we eat at Karavan and it was by far one of our favorite meals. The staff is kind and welcoming, offering wonderful hospitality. The atmosphere is lovely and family friendly. And it’s very clean. The food!… incredible. Everything is fresh, homemade, deliciously seasoned, and was unique to us. The meat dumplings were amazing; they had a sweet and savory filling and were steamed to perfection. The lamb kebabs and chicken were perfectly cooked, wonderfully seasoned and so juicy. The salad was so fresh and we loved the dill and feta mixed in. All in all, just a wonderful and memorable meal. We’ll be back on our next visit to the city!“

“We can't recommend Salty Dogs party room enough. It's absolutely stunning, spacious, fantastic service, amazing and delicious food (as quoted by my sons for their Communion party the best mozzarella sticks, pizza, chicken fingers and crispiest fries in Brooklyn). It was big enough for all our guests to have room to move around and not feel crowded, the buffet food option is amazing, everyone can have a taste of anything they want and there was almost a never ending amount of food.“

“Montero's is a fun bar which is wild because it hosts karaoke 2 or 3 times a week. I love the vibe here, but when it gets crowded unfortunately it's hard to get a drink because how packed the bar gets. Really great time tho and fun vibes.“
