“I came here a couple Sundays ago on a first date. We were seated right away and got our drinks. The food was really yummy. It was busyish but not super crowded or overly loud. About halfway through our meal there was a drag show beginning in the back, but we didn't end up checking it out (though we will next time!) The prices were reasonable and it was fun and yummy. “Went on invitation from my gym friends. The couple told me to drop by and see their Saturday night. And it was a refresher from the usual bars from Brooklyn and City. Easy to spot in Coney Island. A pure and hardcore Puerto Rican bar. You walk in and the energy is mad positive. Simple people having a good time. No vulgar display of wealth. Just happiness and abundant hugging. I tried the Puerto Rican beer. First time and it was fire. Since I avoid fried food at night I opted for the Spanish Salad. Goodness! The quantity. The night ended with few buckets of beer and couple of shots. Coming to this place again .“

“Cool place, indoor and outdoor seating. The service was excellent. The food is very good. The shrimp banh mi was bursting with flavor, I loved all the pickled vegetables. The short rib grilled cheese was more of a short rib sandwich than a grilled cheese but it was delicious. The apples were a nice touch and needed to break up the richness. The fries were well cooked.“

Freddy's bar and I have to say I tried their Philly cheesesteak quesadilla and tots it was amazing chef Mo really knows what he's doing in the kitchen. I just had one hiccup with a bartender I didn't catch her name but shes an older lady and has red hair, I'm not sure if she did it on purpose or not but every time I tried to order a drink it's like she looked right past me. After she left the bartender after her was attentive and nice I think his name is Lee he was pretty cool. Burlesque was fun. They also have this secret menu going on I'm definitely going to try it next time I just won't go as early.“

“On our recent trip to NYC/Brooklyn, we eat at Karavan and it was by far one of our favorite meals. The staff is kind and welcoming, offering wonderful hospitality. The atmosphere is lovely and family friendly. And it’s very clean. The food!… incredible. Everything is fresh, homemade, deliciously seasoned, and was unique to us. The meat dumplings were amazing; they had a sweet and savory filling and were steamed to perfection. The lamb kebabs and chicken were perfectly cooked, wonderfully seasoned and so juicy. The salad was so fresh and we loved the dill and feta mixed in. All in all, just a wonderful and memorable meal. We’ll be back on our next visit to the city!“

“Great bar to watch sports! It’s a standard dive bar. Prices are fine for Brooklyn. Came with friends for the Ohio State championship game. They had a lot of standard bar food. Their waffle fries were good, I’d skip the mozzarella sticks next time. Got some Jello shots at the end :)

“This is a nice little hole in the wall kind of bar. I was craving a burger, so I stopped here for a quick bite and drink. Trust me, the bacon cheeseburger did not disappoint and the fries that come with the burger are the bomb.

I don't understand some of the negative reviews about the service because I thought the service here was really good. The bartender was friendly and attentive and my food came out fast in spite of the place being busy.

Even though the place is small and a tad dark, they have several electronic games along with a dart board to keep the patrons occupied. They have a good sized menu with reasonable pricing and the establishment is clean.

Since I live in the area, I will be sure to stop in again in the near future.“

“This beer and wine tavern is a lovely place to grab a drink and chat with friends, especially if Eve is tending bar. They have a good selection of drafts to make up for the lack of hard liquor so 🍺🍺🍺🍺 out of 5 for variety. I did have a burger there as well and while there was nothing inherently wrong with it, it was not well seasoned, had no crust and was not particularly large. So I give it 🍔 🍔🍔 out of 5. Same for the accompanying potato wedges. I will see everyone we spoke to was friendly and chill so I would give a 5/5 for staff and service.“

“We can't recommend Salty Dogs party room enough. It's absolutely stunning, spacious, fantastic service, amazing and delicious food (as quoted by my sons for their Communion party the best mozzarella sticks, pizza, chicken fingers and crispiest fries in Brooklyn). It was big enough for all our guests to have room to move around and not feel crowded, the buffet food option is amazing, everyone can have a taste of anything they want and there was almost a never ending amount of food.“
