“Always LOVE coming to KCBC when we’re in NY. Wouldn’t be a trip unless we went there. Staff is always awesome, the tap list is always phenomenal and the vibe is always right. Didn’t get any beer pictures this time around, just doggos.“

“I've come here sporadically in the past but after joining a local climbing gym last year, I come here almost weekly.
I've had the pleasure of getting to know some of the folks by name. And every one of them is kind and welcoming.
I'm also a fan of the beers! I have multiple favorites. There's always something new to try and everyone behind the bar is very knowledgable.
Also Billy Bob has a dope playlist he plays from time to time. All hiphop. East coast, west coast, NOLA, Texas, so much love for all regions.
A beautiful thing.“

“Amazing food, grumpy but helpful staff
Loved the homemade chips and the onion dip! Soooo yummy
Also the eggplant Parmesan was the best I’ve ever had! The Piccata sauce was also unreal 🤤🤤
The drinks were just ok, and not an impressive number of options“

“Nestled in this beautiful neighborhood, this bar is a true gem. The atmosphere is immediately captivating, with a portrait of Edgar Allan Poe setting the stage for a cozy and eclectic experience. Every corner seems to tell a story, leading you from the intimate indoor seating to a fantastic 'patio' that's perfect for a relaxed evening or hot late afternoon. The variety of beers on tap is great, offering local craft brews to international favorites. What truly elevates this place, however, is the barman. Knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate, he makes you feel right at home. It's a place where you can lose track of time ;)“

“Cutest little neighborhood wine bar! The staff is very knowledgeable about all the wines they have available. (Shoutout to Austin and Tiffany.)
My friend and I stopped in on a Monday night after dinner. They let us try several different wines in order to make our selection.
Very intimate/cozy vibes and reasonable prices. Would be a great place for a date night!“

“(Nov 2014) Uber cool high tech mod fitout and no shortage of opinionated beer nerds (complete with obligatory cult brewery t-shirts). Even at 2pm on a Sunday arvo. Doesn’t quite have the warm of a traditional US bar but still pretty friendly. Very international list with a focus on left of centre. Pricing on the high side but reflects the quality of the beers. Served via cabernet glasses - a nice touch. I really grew to like the place and they use a small space well. Can I say it reminds me of Two Row in Melbourne? And....btw....the only other bar I have ever seen where punters are punching out tasting notes!“

“Based just on service, this place deserves 5 stars but the food and the orchestration of the whole visit deserves a Michelin star. The scallops are incredibly mindful and memorable. If you want to be blown away, skip dessert and opt for the pb and j with foie Gras instead. Wow. amazing experience“

“Food was so authentic. It took me back to some of my favorite spots on St. Marks back when Japanese Restaurants were kind of hole in the wallish and actually owned and prepared by Japanese. Tonkatsu was super crispy and moist. Udon was clean with a true Japanese flavor not flavor packet garbage some restaurants are passing off these days. The curry udon was amazing. Chirashi was delicate, flavorful and fresh. Great staff. Loved it all. Will be back and soon.“

“I ordered a turkey burger on my lunch break, it came with fries and a pickle. It took about 15 minutes to make(which is exactly what they said) we love a punctual lunch! But the best part was the taste! Seriously the best turkey burger I've ever had. I went back to work and told everyone about it. If you are looking for a spot that has indoor seating, cocktails and beer, as well as great food, you should go here! Next time, I'm definitely dining in!“

“Gold Star Beer Counter nails what most places miss. The music is local and right — unexpectedly amazing — like someone actually thought about it instead of hitting play on some corporate streaming service. You can feel it’s picked by the same personalities you see at the bar, not a marketing team in another time zone. The vibe is warm, unforced, and human. No branding exercise, no playlist ‘strategy,’ just a room that knows exactly who it is and lets you enjoy it“

“A cute little bar with good drinks and really huge portions of truffle fries. The ambiance is fun and quirky. But somehow the acoustics of the place amplified the crowd noise so much that it was impossible to hear my friend sitting next to me.“

“I have dinner here about once a month for easily the last year. The menu changes seasonally and the adjustments are always more delicious. It’s a local spot where you can get a spectacular cocktail and/or a good glass of wine + paired with the happy hour oysters: always strong contenders. 10/10 always recommend.“

“I was at Wicked Monk for a party and the accommodations were very nice.
Cool atmosphere, nice decor, clean and the food was very good. Decent drink selection and the valet parking was slow but if I didn’t need to drive I would go back.
Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and enough space for your bags
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs“
“My evening stroll revealed this charming restaurant nearby. i wish there was a higher rating option for this restaurant. Staff performed at an acceptable level. I've never had a bad experience with any dish. This place gets my strong approval.“

“A nice neighborhood bar with a huge courtyard, the restrooms were clean, the alcohol selection isn't particularly wide, but if you're looking to drink a beer close to home, this is a great place, the staff are nice people at not expensive prices at all.“

“I don’t know why this isn’t rated higher. This is an insanely good burger joint. The burger is savory and perfectly sauced with just a hint of pepperyness on the sauce that brings out a ton of flavor. The fries were perfectly golden and crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.
The staff are super friendly and fun! The music is great. Seltzer water from the fountain machine!
And it’s open late-ish! Can’t beat it“

“Nice chill neighborhood spot to play games or hang out!
The staff is nice (even to someone’s kids who kept throwing water everywhere) and prices are good. It was somewhat busy in a Friday night around 8 but there was still plenty of seats available!“

“While not very big, the bar area behind the curtain is a great vibe with some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. I asked for something caffeinated and icy and received a fantastic coffee based cocktail that was so great I just told the bartender to make me whatever he wanted for the second. The lemon - soda - minty cocktail he made next was even better!
The guy who studied in Oregon is a very talented mixologist and I don’t even know what my bill is gonna be yet - im sure it’ll be worth it.“

“Food was actually really good. The tea combinations are what they are about. They have a music jam Wednesday nights, as our of there entertainment options, and there's like other stores embedded in this one, it's like a mini market. It's an experience depending on the time of day or night you go. It's more like $5 -$15, I did there Cafe drinks and desserts / pasteries“
“Great selection of beers from around the world!“
“The BEST selection of craft beers, charming atmosphere and excellent selection of to gos as well. Great location near other breweries. The owner Shane has long history of curating a fun local experience with the best taste of beers unparalleled in the area.“

“The Nook has been my go-to coffee shop for years, and it never disappoints. The space is cozy and comfortable, perfect for working during the day or just hanging out with friends. It can get pretty crowded on weekdays, so I recommend getting there early if you want to grab a good spot. What really makes The Nook stand out are the extras beyond just great coffee and food (which are both consistently solid). They host craft nights, comedy shows, chess games, and more in the evenings and on weekends, which makes it feel like more than just a café—it’s a little community hub.
If you’re looking for a place that feels warm, welcoming, and always buzzing with energy, The Nook is it.“

“Great vibes and a good selection of craft beers. Plenty of local options as well as some fun imports. They've got pinball in the back if you're into that as well. Only complaint was that the music was maybe a hair too loud for my taste“

“This is the original location of one of my favorite hazy breweries. We have tried them in dc and philly but this one is the best for beer in my opinion.
They have a tone of great unique hazies that are different rough to stand out amongst each other.
The first time we ever went here it wasn't too busy but over the last few years it has gotten packed. Its a big place but it fills up just as quickly.
A new part they added was the slider option which even has a good vegan option.
Overall some great hazy beers if that's what your into.“

“Overall rating: 4.8Such a great, chill spot that’s perfectly nestled in Bedstuy. I come here for the amazing happy hour and a bar crawl on a weekend date.If I lived in the area, I’d definitely become a regular here. Also love the names of the drinks. Very non-pretentious, yet not divey. Totally recommend if you live in the area or looking to try a new place.“

“We had a great bottomless brunch at Limosneros. The food was plentiful and delicious and the drinks were tasty and strong. For $30/person you get an entree and bottomless mimosas/sangria or $41/person to include margaritas too. It was nice to mix and match drinks throughout too. It wasn’t very busy and the staff were generous in providing our group pitchers of the drinks to pour at our own pace. Would definitely recommend brunch here!“
“Did you enjoy the period of time for this part of brooklyn from 2009- 2016? Cool, this place exists in a time warp and still has those exact vibes. Good for all night or hopping and popping down grand street. Tip your bartenders. RIP to diamond bar.“

“I wanted to grab some food and a few drinks on Thursday so some of my friends suggested
Freddy's bar and I have to say I tried their Philly cheesesteak quesadilla and tots it was amazing chef Mo really knows what he's doing in the kitchen. I just had one hiccup with a bartender I didn't catch her name but shes an older lady and has red hair, I'm not sure if she did it on purpose or not but every time I tried to order a drink it's like she looked right past me. After she left the bartender after her was attentive and nice I think his name is Lee he was pretty cool. Burlesque was fun. They also have this secret menu going on I'm definitely going to try it next time I just won't go as early.“

“The food was great and the service was great. It’s not a huge sour note, but the music was really loud. That would be fine, but it kept stopping, part of an ad would play, it would start back up, then change songs, then stop... Really a loud, random experience. It’s one of those “can’t they tell this is happening?” moments. In spite of that, I still recommend it for the food. Huge portions, tasty (but adding the hot sauce was kind of necessary).“

“Who doesn’t love Sea Witch?! The bartenders are super cool, the cocktail menu is killer, and the atmosphere is everything—witchy nautical vibes with a legit decked out fish tank behind the bar and a koi pond in the backyard, where you might even be lucky enough to see a cat! Yes please.
Not to mention their extensive and most excellent draft beer selection, eclectic and surprisingly delicious food menu, and incredibly sweet food-order-takers who have happily brought my food out to me even though you get the vibrating thing to go get it yourself. I think I speak for all of south Brooklyn when I say, if I could give this place 10 stars, I would!!!“

“Neighborhood gem. Great decor, homey, comfortable but well appointed. I have dined here alone and with family, both times it was a good atmosphere. GM Michael is really good and runs a good staff. The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. I will for sure be coming back here!“
