place just opened in the east village and I've been there 5 times already in the last month. simply AMAZING
The food is delicious. At the time I went, not enough staff although they are very attentive.

Calexico is a great place to enjoy food and drinks with friends, with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. The servers are very nice and it's a cute spot to sit in. The food is wonderful, and the mezcal passion fruit shots are a must-try. The lunch special burrito and beer for $15 is great. The nachos are actually good and oh so big. It is a perfect spot for delicious Mexican cuisine, like a wet Barbacoa burrito or a shrimp bowl, and top-notch service in NYC.
