I like to come here just to relax and enjoy an Oreo smoothie (since I’m not a big coffee drinker). I remember the gentleman at the counter from their smaller former shop a few blocks down. Sometimes I’ll order a croissant 🥐 with my drink, and he’s always nice enough to offer to warm it up in the microwave. It’s a clean, quiet place, with an easy atmosphere. Chock Full O'Nuts is a cozy restaurant with a decent atmosphere, although it could use some improvement. The menu offerings may be limited compared to other locations, and the staff may not always be familiar with certain items. However, the muffins and drinks they do offer are exceptionally wonderful. The coffee is very good, and the service is quick and easy. Vegetarian options are available, including the original date nut bread. The restaurant also has clear signs denoting it as a kosher establishment. While there may be some room for improvement, overall it's a good experience.
