The shop has been around for more than 50 years and still serves some of the best sandwiches in the city. We ordered the famous “3 The Hard Way” to try all three classics: pastrami, brisket, and corned beef. Each one was stacked high on rye, and the flavors were incredible. “Stayed around the corner from this fantastic store. Arrived as tourist and left feeling local.The guys here sorted out anything we needed any time any day, literally got treat like royalty with the staff.The food is impeccable, I was told to try a chopped cheese on my travels, I had nothing to compare it to, but delivered! As did the bacon egg and cheese and french toast, hot chocolate and coffee.Nothing is too much trouble, clean, fresh deli counter with an amazing selection!Looking forward to coming back to the neighbourhood and revisiting these guys!“

“I can’t say enough great things about Fresh To Go Deli. First of all, the owner Ahmad is such a friendly, genuinely nice guy—I really loved our conversations every time I stopped by. I was staying nearby and commuting to Manhattan for work, but I would always come back here for my meals because the food is just that good.

Their sandwiches are awesome! I had the chicken cutlet sandwich twice, the Philly cheesesteak, and even their hot dog—everything was prepared with so much care and love. The quality and portion size are incredible for how affordable it is, and every single item was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.

And guess what—they also have fresh-made juices! I tried the immune booster and another juice with apple, carrot, and beet, and I asked for extra ginger, which they generously added. Honestly, one of the best fresh juices I’ve had—super tasty, refreshing, clean, and perfectly made.

What really makes this place special is the friendliness. Ahmad and his coworkers are all incredibly kind and welcoming, and you truly feel taken care of. Amazing food, delicious fresh juices, great prices, and wonderful people—this is hands down my favorite place, and I will definitely be coming back again and again.

“Went there quick for a quick bite. Nothing but amazing! I order me a egg white with turkey , mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, chipotle mayo on whole wheat bread. The prices was really economical and overall the food was prepped right. Good job!“

“This deli was a much needed addition to the neighborhood. I love their sandwiches. I’ve had one unpleasant experience trying to order a smoothie and substituting bananas because of my allergy. The man didn’t seem to understand what I was saying, and all of their smoothies have bananas so I just left. Kind of a bummer because theyre affordable smoothies, but I can’t take the risk. Their prices are very reasonable.“

They make the best hot food and have a very friendly and respectful staff who seems to love their job or respect the fact that they are making food for others so how it is handled and prepared does matter. The store is always clean and where they cook in the back is clean as well as the counter top. The refrigerator and shelves are as stocked as can be. Can't fault them for what sells out quickly because they do re - stock pretty quickly.“
