“Ginger's is such a lovely and welcoming spot in Park Slope. Im Irish and a lesbian & the welcome i was given made me feel like I was just at home. The gorge bartenders even let me finish my drink as they cleaned around me as I only arrived when they called last orders. It is such a cool spot with a relaxed vibe. “I’m not sure why the reviews are so low for this place? I’ve always had a fun time here and I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience but I’ve never felt uncomfortable or even angry. The owner is such a diva and it’s a super cute space with a nice outdoor area. If you’re expecting something higher end and “cleaner”, maybe don’t go to a gay bar in Brooklyn? Just a thought.“

“Drink price is a bit steep. $15+ for a well drink that is not strong enough to justify the price? That’s… a choice. Entertainment is always great here, so I will inevitably return. However, the events start and end unreasonably late for someone who is not from the east coast, so plan accordingly. Patrons tend to smell bad, but that’s just Williamsburg I assume? Won’t fault the venue for that, but just be aware (and maybe bring a mask).“
