Came in on a slower night. Was afforded exceptional service by Meg, who was delightful. Highly recommend.

The host was great, the technical setup is lacking, they use airplay for the monitors so the video feed lags a lot which is pretty annoying.
On a good night dont expect to sing much because a lot of people are tipping a lot to skip to the front of the line (good for the host obviously!)

Metropolitan is a welcoming and accepting bar with a chill vibe. Located in a small and cozy setting, it offers a wide range of drinks at affordable prices. The outdoor area is nice, with a pool table available for those who enjoy it. The bar has a mostly queer crowd, making it a popular spot for regulars. On Mondays, the bar hosts a drag open night, showcasing local talent. The atmosphere is beautiful, with great dancers and good music that isn't trying too hard. The service is generally good, though some staff members have shown rudeness, especially during busy weekend nights after paying to enter. The bouncer can be a bit vindictive and needs to be more proactive. The bar is a relaxed place, especially during Sunday night drag BBQ events in the summer. Overall, Metropolitan is a great spot to grab a drink and have a good time, but it could improve in staff friendliness and customer respect.
