“Glatt A La Carte in Brooklyn, NY: Food? Immaculate! Ambiance? Marvelous! Service? Impeccable! Thank you so much for feeding AND taking care of my family and I. My mom and 2 children decided to dine here this past Tuesday after searching up about 20 kosher restaurants nearby. We live over 2 hours away but knew we needed to eat good before the long drive back home. Listen… don’t walk, but RUN to this place! I ordered the Tomahawk steak and it came out perfectly. The accompanying chicken dishes (chicken wing poppers, buffalo chicken poppers and chicken and waffles) were superb! You’d think I was a celebrity with how they made sure I left happy. Thank you to the owner for stopping by our table ensuring we enjoyed the food. Thank you to our waiters! We were definitely pleased and will return when we’re in the area.“

“Below is my unedited initial review of Ren. Since writing this review I have had several people complain about their experience and they chose to go based on my review. Therefore, I'd like to preface the review below by sharing a few important details.
The tasting menu is for foodies. If you are not a foodie, you will NOT enjoy the tasting menu. You will leave hungry and agitated because of the price. Ren is VERY expensive. If you are not a foodie, your enjoyment will be the location/service and ambiance. But you don't need to go to Ren for that. My suggestion to Ren, if they want to start making money, is to offer a non-foodie menu. Your location and space is amazing. Your chef is very talented. Widen the offerings and the people will come. Even a foodie like me won't go back for the tasting menu. I did it. No reason to have it again, unlike the steak at Le Marais that I can eat twice a month and never get sick of (in theory, obviously).
My initial review, again, unedited:
Five stars all around. Chef is amazing. So go. Try it out. Now for some details. I have to go back and try the prefix menu. The tasting menu was out of this world. We went for my 50th birthday, so it was special and we paid knowing that. If you are going out for a regular meal, ask the prices first. They are much higher than you’d expect. However, the quality is also much higher. So you are truly getting what you pay for. The tasting is a kosher experience worth trying if you are a foodie. It will blow your mind away like it did ours. Took many hours for the different tastes we had in our mouths to subside! That was wild. Do yourself a favor and get the wine pairing. They know what they are doing at REN. Enjoy!“

“We ordered a couple of platters (and more!) for a small family party. The food was delivered on time and was absolutely delicious. David is a pleasure to work with and really aims to please his customers. One of our family members has a sesame allergy and he went above and beyond to ensure that the food was sesame free!“

“The new menu is pretty good. Also good to know they have renewed their liquor license, so you can enjoy some wine or beer with your food.“

“Some portions are small, although good food but excessive mandatory gratuity of 20%
They don't give you option to choose the rate.
Was there again tonight, too expensive. Probably won't come back.
Food looked good but was basic meaning it tasted bland. I need flavors...“

“Very good Italian restaurant. Great service and comfortable atmosphere, although space is rather small.
Food was good, cocktails were not the best. My favorite is the Avocado Fritters that are not on the menu, highly recommended.
A little overpriced for what you get.“

“This place is great, and you don’t have to be religious or Jewish to enjoy it. The boss is fantastic and the kugels are great, in particular the overnight version. There’s a lot of fun, different stuff in there, especially if you’re not used to that sort of food. The roasted chicken is truly phenomenal.“

“This spot has an awesome selection of kosher schnitzel, burgers, sandwiches, subs, and all kinds of chicken dishes, plus fresh cookies and other treats. Everything tastes great and is made with care. They also offer convenient party platters, which are perfect for events or office lunches. It is nice to see that they now have multiple locations, all keeping the same quality and flavor that made the original so popular. Friendly service, great food, and always a satisfying experience.“

“Solid spot for takeout food before Shabbos. The flavor are pretty good and the food taste fresh to me. I do wish they would have prices on the items as has become the norm nowadays and to see before you ask for it what it cost. Though I did find prices to be pretty fair. They have a pretty big selection of items.“

“Ordered the chicken soup based on the online review. It tasted exactly like campbells canned chicken soup because it was canned soup! No it wasnt boiled from chickens fresh and made to taste like canned chicken soup. Owner very nice. Mensch. The opposite of whole foods. Reasonable prices. 40$ for couple days food for 1 person. Some of it was too salty for me“

“An old fashioned luncheonette. I don't think the decor has been changed in the 60+ years they have been open except to replace any torn or broken chairs. It is very clean. Very charming. I only had coffee and a Danish. The coffee was good.“

Shakshuka, Moti coffee, delicious fresh vegetable. Truly amazing. I flew in from miami Florida and took a 1hr uber from my hotel to come to south brooklyn to eat lunch here. “Akimori on the upper east side is a delightful culinary experience. The fish was extraordinary and the presentation was amazing. The vegetarian option could use a little more creativity. We had the restaurant ourselves, and it was like having a private chef. Kudos to Paul who made us feel so welcome.“

“A cozy Kosher spot with flavor-packed favorites!
Milk N Honey is one of those local gems you stumble into and end up craving weekly. The place has a laid-back, welcoming vibe and a solid variety of dairy kosher options that don’t miss.
If you’re stopping by, here’s what you have to try:
Falafel Pizza – crispy, flavorful, and a wild but genius combo that works.
Garlic Knots – soft, buttery, and packed with flavor; perfect side or snack.
Eggplant Parmigiana – saucy, cheesy, and comforting—an underrated highlight.
Cheesecake – light and creamy, the perfect finish to any meal.
Homemade Cheese Danish – flaky, sweet, and perfect with a coffee.
Whether you’re here for a quick bite or looking to sit down and chill, this spot delivers on both food and atmosphere. The prices are fair, and service is friendly. I usually grab a couple of things for takeout and it’s always fresh and made with care. Highly recommend if you're in the area looking for something vegetarian, kosher, and reliably good.“

“The best cheesecake I've at any point had and I'm not sluggish to drive right down from Sovereigns to get it. It's in every case new and delectable, and the clerk (sadly, don't have the foggiest idea about his name) is generally overall quite grinning. Extraordinary spot and has incredible individuals, bless your heart.??❤️?“

“Munch has great food. Period. Everything on the menu is consistently delicious and well-prepared, but the Munch beef-wrapped chicken tenders are easily one of my all-time favorites. Their Chinese dishes are flavorful, authentic, and always hit the spot. The restaurant has plenty of seating on the main floor, making it great for families, groups, or casual meals, and there’s even a party room available for gatherings or events. The service is friendly, and the whole experience is both comfortable and satisfying every time.“

“I never thought I would find a kosher restaurant on the border of Bushwick and Bed-Stuy. And as far as I can tell, the closest place elsewhere you can find kosher food is in Crown Heights, which is about 2 miles away. Still, the shakshuka pita I had blew me away. That, and Eddie (the owner) helped me put on tefillin earlier. Considering it is a kosher establishment, the prices are pretty fair. Jewish or not, if you find yourself over here, try it, you won't regret it. My Orthodox friends would love this“
