The food was great but they only thing that threw me off was the jerk sauce. I like spicy food and can handle but that sauce was FIRE. But other than that everything was amazing would come back
The jerk chicken was seasoned well and fried snapper eschovich. Rice and peas was dry even with curry gravy. Service was expected for a Jamaican restaurant. Music was playing while you wait for your food. At times it's hard to hear when your order was ready. No bathroom. $$cash only$$

I've been ordering escovitch porgy with rice and peas and stew fish gravy back to back. Each time it has been good and far better than the other Peppa's location. Today I tried the snapper instead of porgy and that's why I'm giving them 3 stars. For the price the snapper wasn't worth the value at all (or maybe I just got a small, mawga fish this time). The fish was tasty but not meaty at all. They put one thick slice of onion of top and very few carrots for the escovitch topping......read full review
