“Oh my gosh, so we went out to dinner this evening after going to the movies. We went to Winfield Pub in South Buffalo. All I can say is WOW. My husband saw that it had a 4.7 star rating and we'd never been there. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. They have several different beers to offer and even some seasonal ones. Their drink menu is extensive but not daunting and their drinks are super creative. For our starters we got the hop fries with a garlic parmesan aioli which regulars call "crack sauce" I can see why....it's SO good! My husband got the Snout and Stout which is their take on french onion soup but with a pork broth and milk stout added to it with pieces of pork in it. We both tried it and that too was truly delicious it was a great spin on a classic dish. For our entrees my husband got the ribeye and I got the bbq mac and cheese. My husband loved his ribeye it was cooked perfectly and the sides were amazing. My mac and cheese was probably one of the best mac and cheeses I've ever had. They added burnt pork ends and blue cheese to it and it adds such a depth of flavor and richness this comfort food feels so fancy. I enjoyed it thoroughly. For dessert we shared a piece of their Guinness cake. Again, it was rich and delicious the frosting wasn't overly sweet. We brought a little bit of everything home and are looking forward to eating the rest of it tomorrow. Our server was absolutely lovely and so kind and funny. The chef at this restaurant is so creative and thoughtful with every aspect of the experience right down to bringing us the bill in a Christmas Card. This place is 5 stars!“

“We just enjoyed a wonderful Breakfast with Santa at The Tewksbury Lodge for the third year in a row. Everything was amazing! The food, the service and the atmosphere were all top notch. Our granddaughters, 5 & 3 yrs old were so excited. Santa greeted all the kids as he entered, and then was so sweet and kind to the all the kids as they were called up, by table, to visit with him at his special chair. Each child received a bag of goodies. You could feel the magic in the air and on the smiles of the kids, parents and grandparents. The Tewksbury Lodge has this breakfast down to a science, systematic and efficient while not rushing at all. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas experience! We'll definitely be back next year! “Came here a few months ago to get fish fry and couldn’t find the name to write a review. Turns out I followed the shop’s page on facebook!
Anyway, their fish fry is great especially for the price of $12!! I 1000% recommend giving it a try on a friday!
Customer service was great the man who served me seemed so happy to help us and he was so welcoming!

“This small business has a great family vibe. The food was ahmazing! the meatballs with ricotta are like no other. Their chicken, stuffed mushrooms, and roast beef were cooked and seasoned to perfection. They have a lot of seafood options, clams and scalops too. The owner and chef, Mark is out and about interacting with patrons and even plays the harmonica for you! He is very talented, he vame out to play happy birthday for someone across the restaurant and even came over to our work christmas party to play some christmas music. It is a gem of a place, if you are in kenmore and want dinner or just a glass of wine at a quiet bar or a warm friendly place, they are wonderful. I highly recommend them for dinner and small business dinner parties.“

“The Celtic Menu was planned for this week and a friend and I ordered the Seafood light cream soup and Fall salad with romaines, toasted hazelnuts, grilled orange slices,et cetera to start ! Each was so very delicious ! Before that we were given their complimentary amusebusce ( sp.? ) of their homegrown cherry tomatoes, flavored butter and asparagus. The breadbasket had Irish soda bread,and one other roll. My entree was two pieces of beautifully fried fish, and shoestring French fries,and Cole slaw. Best that I’ve ever had ! Another entree was a lamb pasty with vegetables. The crust was marvelous and the lamb gently seasoned. We could not resist the ‘pot pie’ on a light,crust with delicious vegetables. 2 desserts were offered but we must leave room for those on another visit ! The chef takes time to come out to the tables to check about the food,and the staff is VERY attentive . This was a wonderful experience, as every time we attend ! Treat yourself !“

“It was such a fun evening with co-workers on a Pedal tour. We started and ended at Buffalo Olde Brewery and stopped at 3 others along the way. A Much needed night of Laughter! Driving around, singing karaoke, sharing laughs...nothing better!!! If you have never been to Buffalo Olde Brewery in Lovejoy you need to check it out. It is such a nice spot with bands on Thursday and Saturdays. The service was friendly, and the food was yummy. The mural outside is awesome! A gem for sure.“

The wings here are not your average wings, I don’t know what they do but they’re sooo good the cajun is magical. The drinks are good. There is security checking ID and making sure things are ok, it is a bar and restaurant so they do have all types of food including breakfast and dinner. “Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

The sauce tastes the exact same every time I stop in, it hasn't changed since I was a kid in the 80's and went there with my grandfather for lunch. The staff is always friendly and polite. It was clean, parking was easy and the front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. The lobby and the rooms seemed recently renovated and we were happy with our stay. The hotel is conveniently located and pricing was reasonable. Would recommend staying here if you need to visit the Buffalo area.“

“#1 - The staff is absolutely fantastic. Very nice and welcoming folks who were both kind and supportive in a somewhat stressful situation.
#2 - The margarita flatbread was not my typical expectation for a margarita flatbread, but it fit the bill for similar styles of flavor. Absolutely enjoyed the heck out of that.
#3 - Music choice was decently solid
