“Went there for st. Patrick’s day. Couldn’t be more pleased. We had a reservation and got seated immediately. Service was fast and friendly and the food was out of this world. I think I’d sell my soul for more sticky toffee pudding. If you want an idea of their service I watched a man straight up slap a glass of beer out of the waitresses hands (he was a hand talker and it was an accident) and into the wall. She was super kind about it and someone (a manger or owner) came over and immediately changed out everything and cleaned everything up while the server got a new beer. Everyone was kind and quick about it and had I not happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye. they were so discrete Idt I would have. As a table we tried the Sheppards fries, the corned beef and cabbage, corned beef sandwich and sticky toffee pudding and all were incredible. Definitely will be back!“

“I cannot say enough about the staff at Hartman’s, but especially in the barrel room. Without going into detail, there was a pretty obnoxious crowd. The bartenders, especially our server Alyssa, handled the situation with grace and poise and compassion for their other customers. I was so impressed with their professionalism. To add, i have a fabulous experience every time I am here. Monica is another worker that we visit often because of how amazing she makes our experience. Overall, everyone who works in the barrel room is so talented and the energy is great. Kudos.“

“Good Value with a Lovely Ambiance

This place offers good value for the price and ambiance, though the food didn’t quite exceed my expectations. The ambiance was lovely, and the service was nearly perfect - our server was. Our favorite was the duck, which was cooked with crispy skin.
Dover sole is renowned for its delicate, sweet flavor and velvety soft texture with its flaky fillets fall apart effortlessly with a fork. However, in your case, the sole was drier than expected, which might have been due to slight overcooking. Despite this, Dover sole remains a prized choice for its refined taste and texture.
The lamb is a solid choice if you’re very hungry.
For appetizers, the burata was intriguing when fried, but I preferred it in its original form as frying didn’t enhance the dish for me.
The thin layer of steak tartar was served on fatty toast that overpowered the tartar, which was a bit disappointing—I wouldn’t order it again as tartar.
The oysters were not all professionally opened.
The side mushrooms were too bland and not the type I expected, though the side potatoes were a hit with my mom.
Drinks were well-crafted, while others didn’t blend flavors as smoothly. Olive cake is worth trying!
Overall, this is a great spot for a casual dinner. We visited late in the evening, so maybe the chef was tired, which might have affected some dishes. Despite minor imperfections, the overall experience was enjoyable.“

I also had the Gypsy Juice as my beverage, along with some Pastelitos (beef) shared for the table. Those were just OK to me and I've had better elsewhere. “Have been there twice now. Jimmy the bartender was awesome both times! Highly recommend. I’m not exactly sure what nights he’s out and about but we’ve been on a Sunday and Monday evening, and I’m very glad I’m moving to the ward so I can become a regular and have him as a bartender more regularly. Conversation always great, and he engages multiple groups if there’s more than one group so that everyone can get to know each other. They have magners, my favorite cider and Tully, my favorite whisky so I’m a happy camper! Thank you jimmy! And thank you kris and the nice young lady and gentleman from the kitchen that chatted with me tonight. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!“

“My husband and I went in with my brother and sister in law for a double date. It was my first time there and didn’t know what to expect. It was very fun atmosphere and the drinks were good. “Went there for the 2 for $7 chili and bacon dogs on a Thursday around 6pm. Was surprised at what a good time we had. Bartender was very nice and helpful. She made us some amazing slushie drinks. I didn't know they offered those. I saw the machine hiding in the back and asked lol. They should advertise that a bit. Hot dogs were great and well worth it. We had a blast playing the MANY pinball machines. I loved the variety of stuff they had. It's not just a pool hall! The whole vibe was great and we will def be back. 4 stars!“

“1st time was Sunday afternoon, silo nachos, and chicken tenders, the silo nachos knocked it out of the park, chicken was good. They have guiness nuff said, the bartender was very friendly and gave us some of the history, also had a lengthy conversation with the owners son who seemed to be really into the who silo city .
