“This place is worth making a point to visit! We will be back! The beers we tried were very good - and they have something that would fit all palates. (Im an IPA girl, and hubby is a lager guy). They also have a full bar and their own specialty drink menu —I described my drink preferences to the bar tender- and he made THE best choice for me. The bartender also had a lot of info regarding the history of the place - you could tell he liked working there. (He’s probably the reason we would return— great service and very friendly). If you haven’t dropped in- you need to put it on your radar to check out.“

“My boyfriend and I went there last night for dinner! It was his first time and we both loved it. We got the calamari, ceviche, shrimp and grits and the penne paste! The calamari is by far the best I have ever had! The bartender Will was amazing and made our dining experience that much more enjoyable! We cannot wait to go back!“

“Fattey Beer is a fun stop, with a great selection of brews. You are sure to find one you like when you stop here! Friendly staff, nice location right in downtown Buffalo. Smallish patio in back with seating outside in front as well. Mug Club option available.“

“Great first day at Spotted Octopus in Rochester! Loved the beer, food and especially the service. The new systems threw the team a few curveballs, but the staff kept their cool and made customer satisfaction the #1 focus. Opening on parade day proved to be the perfect pressure test and they definitely succeeded.“

“The food (especially the Boquerones and the Bahn Mi) were fantastic! Also the staff was so friendly and helpful toward our three liquored up friends. The atmosphere was incredible and I would recommend everyone try this place for a lovely casual dinner or a drunk evening out with friends.“

When I say hands down the best burger I have had we ordered the loaded fries to share and as my daughter says mom ... this is awesome . the staff was amazing and the cook even came out and talked . We had a designated section reserved for our group. The girls got to sit together and bond, younger siblings were kept entertained playing some of the numerous games the restaurant had on hand and the adults got to relax while enjoying some tasty food and drinks. Parents were still talking about that dinner a week later. 10/10. Would highly recommend.“

“TeLly fun place, excellent whiskey and craft beer selection, great craft cocktails esp. the Espresso Martini. Food is limited to specialty sandwiches and pizzas both are worth having. Theater themed vibe with old black and white movies playing. A cool place to hang out.“

“Visited Buffalo for a basketball tourney and picked this brewery at random. Untapped tells you it’s good, very good. (4.3 stars there means they have legit, quality, carefully crafted beers).Nice vibes inside, good looked great (had the nachos). Enjoyed a draft and took hike four pack of Eos. They are kid friendly and the bar staff was very nice.“

“Came here because we heard it has "speakeasy" vibes. While the atmosphere is for sure unique amongst other Buffalo bars, I wouldn't really say it' like a speakeasy. The decoration seems more 1970s. The cocktails offered all seemed very intricate and had lots of ingredients and mixed alcohols. Many included vanilla. We got the Saturn and Pickaxe. The Saturn was very sour, and the Pickaxe was very bitter. The prices were quite high, but you are paying for the ambiance of your experience. The waitress was super attentive and cheerful, and you could also eat outside on the patio that is shared with No Fun.“
