“We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! We even asked for an extra birthday cupcake for our nephew to have on the day of the wedding, and they made it sooo cute! (wish I could figure out how to add a picture here... It was SO pretty!!!)“

“Layers Bakeshop is hands down my favorite bakery. The first time I ever had Layers was actually in Pakistan, so it already held a special place for me. Later on, a close friend introduced me to the U.S. locations and fun fact, she and her brother actually own the franchise. They’ve truly done an amazing job with every store so far.

I’ve been to about three Layers locations, and while the Elmont Layers Bakeshop location is the smallest one, it’s also the closest to me, which makes it my go-to. The quality, presentation, and consistency are always on point.

Honestly, I love almost everything from this bakery, but right now my absolute favorite is anything Lotus-flavored you really can’t go wrong with it. The desserts are rich, balanced, and never disappoint.

I also noticed they’ve started making candles, which is such a smart and creative addition to the brand. It just shows how much thought they put into expanding beyond desserts while keeping the same aesthetic and quality.

If you haven’t tried Layers yet, you’re seriously missing out. Highly recommend stopping by especially the Elmont location if you’re nearby.“

“Brian designed our dream cake for our October Friday the 13th wedding. We went in with some ideas, bits and pieces from multiple photos and what was created blew our minds. Everyone was speechless when it came out. Aside from the delicious taste of the cake itself the details and time that was poured into it is one that we truly appreciate and love. We been to the shop multiple times before the wedding just to grab some goodies because everything is tasty and above the typical/traditional desserts you’d expect. Some days there are crowds of kids or families waiting to be served and they still provide good service. I love Carvel in general and this is a good location, very reliable. Parking can be iffy if there isn't anything open on the street but you may just need to find something residential or a block or so away and walk.“
