50 Best Italian Restaurants near Carle Place

“We picked Rialto to try for a last minute dinner and had a great experience. A friendly and professional server brought our drinks quickly and made a great wine recommendation. We split the stuffed artichoke which was tasty and a perfect size so we were still able to enjoy our entrees. Husband got Osso Bucco over saffron risotto and I got shrimp and spinach rigatoni in a light tomato sauce. Both were delicious and I was surprised how many shrimp were included. I couldn't even finish them. Overall, we had a great night and look forward to a return visit.“

Sadly this restaurant is not the same anymore. The bread wasn’t fresh, was too thin and crunchy whereas it used to be soft and fluffy. The pappardelle bolognese is nowhere near what it used to be. The paninis aren’t pressed enough and have lost their delicious taste. The chicken francese was very salty. The dining experience is not cozy anymore, it’s awfully loud to the point you cannot have a conversation. I write this review in good faith in hopes it can be restored to its previous glory. Sadly I will not be coming back.

“Very large venue. Attractive decor and lighting. We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed. Even with reservations we had to wait quite a while. The aroma of something really nice made the wait seem longer. The food was very good but servers were struggling to handle the crowd. Our dinners were not hot when they arrived. The noise at times made conversation nearly impossible. We’ll come back again but we will rethink the time - maybe a Florida dinner time.“

“The food here was absolutely outstanding! My mother and I visited, and we were both blown away. She had the four cheese ravioli with vodka sauce, and I had the pollo zingarella—both dishes were seasoned to perfection and tasted incredible. Even though it’s Italian cuisine, the food felt surprisingly light and fresh as we ate.

We travel often and consider ourselves serious food critics, and this place is hands-down the best Italian food we've ever had. In fact, it's now on our short list of the best meals we’ve enjoyed anywhere in the world!

The service was equally impressive—very personable and attentive. We even had the chance to chat with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and shared some great tips on how to make a high-quality Marsala sauce at home.

Highly, highly recommend coming here. I’ll be making trips to Long Island just to eat here again and try more of their menu!“

They even went out of their way to help my handicap mother get in and out of the car! Food is delicious and tons of variety when compared to the standard Italian restaurant. “The pan seared roasted chicken is amazing!!! My family and I found this place a few weeks ago. It's a beautifully decorated, clean and fairly new establishment with a very polite staff. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. All of what we could see were large entrees no fru fru at all. This is another local good place to dine in Floral Park.“
